Authentic 3 bedroom Vieques house, quiet neighborhood, 10 minute walk to ferry.

Casa de Ramona is a 3 bedroom 2 full bathroom house on the side of a mountain in the historic (first barrio en Vieques), quiet, family friendly barrio of Leguillo Mambiche. There is a living room & fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy countryside views as you sit and eat on the front porch. Casa de Ramona is walking distance to the main town of Isabel Segundo where you will find the ferry (10 minute walk), shopping, restaurants, groceries, and North side beaches like Sea Glass Beach. The south side beaches and Esperanza are an easy rural 15 minute drive. All linens provided. Outdoor shower. Beach chairs, coolers, snorkeling gear, and beach towels provided. All you need is your clothes and food! Spices, cooking oil provided. We are excited to be able to share our beautiful island with you!

Very clean property, very easy to get enough with host, we didn’t have any children traveling with us but I saw it is very family friendly, they had books, painting supplies and board games. The area was very close to to downtown.

Good view of hills

This house is in a good, central location on the island. We really enjoyed the lovely view of the hills with our morning coffee on the front porch. Amy, the host, was very responsive.

Awesome stay! Everything was perfect and better than expected. We had an amazing time and would absolutely do it again. No issues at all, no bugs, super clean and comfortable. We really love it here and the host was very communicative. The local cats are also sweet and come to the porch.

We had no air conditioning in the third bedroom and only the bedrooms were air-conditioned. We had no hot water. We contacted the host. They did send someone over but they couldn’t fix either problem. We used the stove which looked like it had never been cleaned, and I couldn’t turn the overhead fan on because it was covered with so much dust I was afraid to get it on the bed. Even though we were given the password and the Wi-Fi login there was no Wi-Fi service. The house is located across from a chicken farm so early every morning the roosters were sure to let us know they were up. My disappointment was mainly that this was rated a 10 out of 10 and I don’t feel that the rating was correct.

Mambiche is as quiet as it gets. On a dead end road, hillside facing a farm and beautiful countrySide views while still being close to town is just perfection.
