Nice building but no life in it

The building and the facilities are brilliant but the staff especially the duty manager has an attitude toward customer. He is not helpful at all. The breakfast was good but they don't have variety. They lack creativity and passion with the food. They serve the same food every single day.

Cheap small apartments

Beds are extremely hard. Furniture is rather big so no space for kids to move around. Everything closed for Ramadan, which I understand but it would be nice to have a little corner for the tourist open, like other hotels do. Over all, not impressed. The staff was super friendly though, so I will give them that.

Very good but basic service. I had stayed in the area before so was familiar with the location. Reasonable walk to groceries, etc. I didn't use many of the facilities other than parking. Definitely not on par with the top hotels in Doha but wanted a kitchenette. Wifi and mobile occasionally dropped though.

Decent hotel & centrally located

Doha Downtown was a decent hotel with plenty of restaurants/cafes/coffee shops in the vicinity. There are small supermarkets in walking distance if you choose to purchase groceries during your stay at the hotel, which has a refrigerator, microwave, oven and toaster oven available in each room. I had to switch rooms because my first room had a smell coming from the bathroom, particularly from the bathroom sink, but they happily switched me to a different room upon my request. I was pleased with the switch and the remainder of my stay went well.

I forgot to carry shampoo with me. And I used hotel shampoo and gel. It is terrible shampoo and gel. My hair are pruritus whole day. And soap just like rock. Very hard. Beside this. Others acceptable.

Fantastic service

The hotel is in a central location in a safe area, a couple of small supermarkets a short walk away. It was spotlessly clean and the rooms were very comfortable, with a small kitchenette equipped with everything you need for self catering. Disappointed we weren't told about the outdoor pool being refurbished and building work on the floor we stayed on before our visit, but the spa facilities and indoor pool were brilliant. There are 2 spas with indoor pools 1 for men and 1 for ladies. With jacuzzis and saunas also well equipped gym. The staff are fantastic at this hotel, professional and polite at all times
