We absolutely loved our trip to Olympia! The house is perfectly located for walking into town, taking jogs around the lake, and getting out to nature quickly. It was also really well-appointed, and the kids really loved the kids' room and all the games to play. We spent late afternoons on the upper balcony in the sunshine with a cocktail, and since we were there over Easter, hid Easter eggs in the yard for the kids to find. We would absolutely stay here again!
Host was great and accessible. Amenities perfect for us. We wanted for nothing. The house was historic and glamorous and comfortable. Would stay again!!!
Loved the house. Such a great location, we easily walked into downtown Olympia each morning. The house was well stocked and managed. We love old houses so it was a treat to stay in a home with such history. Plenty of space and very comfortable. Highly recommend!
This was the perfect house for two families of four spending a long weekend in Olympia. Indoor games and books for kids as well as a wonderful outdoor space to play. Comfortable beds for all. Thoughtful touches around the beautiful, historic house. Walkable to downtown for coffeeshops, restaurants, and a park with a playground. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating, even going out of their way to find us an item that we forgot to bring. We would absolutely stay here again!
Great place - totally convenient to downtown and West Olympia by foot. Well thought out accommodations. I love a coffee grinder and whole beans and there they were! The historic house is beautiful and spacious... we each picked a completely different and fun room. The host is great at communication which I really appreciated as we need to change our reservation dates twice. We would absolutely stay again in the purple house.
I was looking for a large vacation rental to accommodate a large group of new friends that would be in town for a meet up and the moment I saw the first photos of this majestic home I knew that I had found the perfect place. We were a group of 9 adults, however this home had many wonderful accommodations for children that would be perfect for large families or family reunions. From the well stocked kitchen to all the rooms, closet space, comfortable gathering spaces, huge dining table, and thoughtfully labeled supplies, this home really had it all. I cannot adequately express how honored we all felt to experience this wonderful historic home, so full of life, mystery and love. Thank you to our host, we could not be happier!
