My wife and dogs were supposed to come with me but it ended up being just me. Great proximity to the mountain. I like to start the ski day early so I chose not to mess around with the shuttle and to drive 5 minutes and park as close as you can to the hotel, Lot C I think. From there it's a short uphill walk to the base lodge (where i put my ski boots on).
So for just me this condo was great. If you are bringing a dog that needs to be crated, there is a furniture style crate that will accommodate a medium size dog. If you bring your own crate, there isn't anywhere to put it.
The condo is perfectly adequate if you aren't too picky a traveler. Wood stove is nice just remember to bring your own newspaper, kindling, and matches or a lighter.
Great spot and great communication with the owners. The condo is single floor and the two bathrooms were great to have. Internet service was reliable and nice to have the Rokus in each room. Close to mountain
It was very clean and nice. Couldn't figure out the TV very well, but that was okay. Previous tenants left food and wine in fridge. We tried to clean as we went. Thank you for all you did to make it nice.
We very much enjoyed our stay here for a little family ski weekend. There’s plenty of room and had everything you need to ready yourself for lots of skiing and to wind down after. It’s located in walking distance to Snubber. George and Julene are great hosts and responded very quickly to meet our accommodations. We highly recommend and will stay here again in the future.
We had two families, 4 adults & 4 kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The owner was very good with communication and instructions on how best to utilize the location. We love Sugarloaf!
This was a great rental! George was great to work stop with and answered of our questions quickly.
A great location and very clean!

Very nice. Just as advertised
We have done 2-7 day rentals with VRBO for years, from Canada to Key West. We have secured condos at Sugarloaf, like this one, 3 or 4 times, so we know what's out there.
This particular condo rental was excellent. Everything was just as we expected. Very comfortable and very convenient .
The owners were very helpful, and great with timely communication. Very nice having 2 large bedrooms with two full baths, for comfort and privacy. Very nice having entrance on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb. Also a real treat having a real wood-burning fireplace for a very cold night on the mountain.
A plus having the option for guest pass for the nearby indoor pool and hot tub, which we didn't use this trip, but I've used that facility before. Always a plus staying right on the mountain, with shuttle service to the other Sugarloaf venues, rather than renting something a little cheaper off campus, but many miles drive just to get to Sugarloaf access road. My wife also found some beautiful trails thru the woods to walk our dog, right by this condo.
We would rent this unit again next winter, no worries. DCU

Comfortable but lacked some storage space
Upon arrival the condo was in decent shape. 2 nice rooms lots of sleeping space but it really lacked in space for food items. The only pantry cupboards were locked and we had brought a lot of food for 5 people having a 5 night stay.we had to get creative on where to put stuff. It being Christmas we had more than normal. I had messaged the owner to ask about it and never received a reply. The fridge was quite dirty and had a lot of things left in it, as well as the freezer. I had a hard time fitting all that we brought in it. On the up side it had a very nice washer and Dryer and a great location close to pool house and such. For the money it was a decent deal. I would have expected it to have been a bit cleaner but I cleaned it and it was fine. I’d suggest if you are traveling w a family to make sure you bring your own dish soap, kitchen towels and large pots for cooking. Owners seemed nice and very responsive to questions we had before our stay. If it hadn’t been for the untidy fridge/freezer/stove and the lack of any space to put food I would have given 5 stars. I hope this helps!
- disclaimer: I’m a neat freak and perhaps others would not have been bothered by the things I was. I hate to leave a review that’s at all negative.we appreciate the opportunity to spend a week on the mountain in someone else’s space.

Response from VrboOwner on 29 March 2020
We always appreciate those who choose to stay at our place. This is the first negative review we have ever received and were quite surprised by it. Of 18 available cabinets doors, 4 remain locked because of our own frequent use of the condo and need to secure personal items. We are quite forgiving when we post reviews of travelers who stay at our condo, understanding that we all have differing perspectives and perceptions, which is why we left 5 star ratings for this group even though the condo was left unlocked, a pie plate of cooked food left in the oven, and one of the coveted pool passes is missing. Finding our condo unsecured was a bit discomforting!

Sugarloaf rental review
Great experience with condo rental! The HomeAway rental was nicely appointed and exceeded our expectations. The owner did a fantastic job communicating details beforehand and has even offered to mail us a forgotten sweatshirt. I would totally recommend this condo rental. Thanks George!

Comfortable and conveniently located
Our family just spent a three day ski weekend at this condo near Sugarloaf. George and Julene were very helpful and nice to work with. The condo is a very efficient use of space and four of us stayed there very comfortably. It's cozy, has everything we needed, and was conveniently located to skiing at Sugarloaf. We highly recommend this condo.
