I very much enjoyed our stay at cabin #4. It was a very basic setup inside the cabin, yet comfortable. Had everything we needed. The best part was the private dock, where we enjoyed a full day of fishing. The scenery was beautiful as well. We enjoyed a few hikes, getting to know the landscape while we were there. Overall a beautiful & peaceful escape from the city life.

Best Night Away!
We had such an amazing experience here! Jason was so welcoming and went out of his way to make my boyfriends birthday special. We had absolutely no issues. Any questions or recommendations we had, he was very eager to answer. Very nice and peaceful night away from our hectic lives! We will most definitely be booking again and recommending to anyone looking for an awesome little getaway!
Our night at this cabin was pretty fun. The only complaint we have is that with a recent knee surgery getting up the stairs is difficult to say the least. Be sure and put the air conditioner off economy mode to keep it cold in the summer. It is right across the street from the lake.
I wish we could have stayed longer! The little A frame house was windy l wonderful for our family of 4. Two queen beds upstairs and a pull out downstairs made more than enough room for us to sleep. The kitchen was well stocked and a full size washer and dryer was really nice. The kitchen doesn't have a stove but there is a camp stove you can use that we found perfectly efficient. The dock was so nice to fish on and the bait shop was so handy! We walked to it and the public beach so the kids could play in the sand while we fished. The owners were wonderful and easy to reach at the bait shop. We will return and stay longer!
Perfect spot for fishing, grilling or sitting by fire pit. We were even able to watch the Cowboys game. Stayed fri-sun, on Sunday, the water pressure was low. Great homemade salsa in store.
A nice little spot on the lake away from the city if that's what you're looking for. There's not much around and not many amenities, but it's perfect for a weekend getaway
We really enjoyed our stay! It was the perfect line between quiet and peaceful environment on the lake while also convenient to a town for all of the food items we of course forgot. If we were staying longer we also would have checked out some of the local stores and restaurants. The owner runs a bait shop and rentals for all that you could need, we rented a kayak and fishing pole and bought some beer and bait, having that on site was really important to us in choosing the rental as we didn’t want to have to figure out how to go about locating these services and it was even better that everyone there was so friendly and had such helpful suggestions to enjoying our experience. We chose a rather chilly weekend but it was perfect to cook on the fire pit and we brought our own blankets from home to sit on the pier and fish and read. There’s no central air but we were plenty cozy with just the radiator on at 75 degrees, they also have many portable heaters and fans stocked in the cabin but it’s really not needed and plenty comfortable. It’s a rustic place but everything you need is there which is perfect for a stress free getaway. We’ll definitely be back.
We enjoyed our stay, but the loft was a little difficult for us older people to access. The owner was very helpful in all respects to help us get situated. He even sent a young man to our cabin shortly after our arrival to help me get live bait to fish with. The view was excellent.
We did a one night, 2 day stay and our 11 yr old and 2 yr old loved it! We finally got the 11 yr old in the outdoors away from electronics and he loved it. The lake, the fire pit, the cookout and smores. The 2 yr old wanted to be on the big porch with her cup and snacks the whole time. We needed the night away.!

Great family weekend!
We enjoyed our time with the kids out on the lake. It was very relaxing and peaceful. The kids loved the futon. Great Lake views. Plenty of space for two adults and two kids. We loved every minute of our trip. The owner was very informative and available if needed. We will plan to go back for sure!

Hi I'm Jason! I am an avid outdoors man, father, biker. My passion is fueled with a great respect and appreciation for nature, the road, humanity and history. Fishing, hunting and taking care of my family, friends & neighbors are some of my greatest joys! My hobbies include traveling, engineering, carpentry, welding, recycling and DIY projects. After 14 years of drilling for oil companies I found myself in the position of needing to find an alternative career to provide for my family, so in February of 2016 I took on a project of restoring an abandoned lakeside resort and began my journey building Lake Cisco Rentals. So far the journey has been awesome and I've met lots of great people!
