Cute, clean first floor apt.Host was quick to respond to any questions.Plenty of super thoughtful little extras…Bottled water, coffee, extra snacks, blankets etc.Great location with quick access into downtown Pittsburgh.Josh & Sara have an amazing vision for this property. Incredible and impressive amount of work has gone in and continues to.Excited to see that vision take shape as they move forward….Only reason for 4stars and not 5 is the very busy RR tracks.Completely out of their control! We wish them all the best!!
Had 2 football tournaments in the area 2 weeks apart, took a chance here, was very impressed, made coming right back 2 weeks later an easy decision. Comfortable and Spacious for the 2 of us and aside from the occasional train, pretty quiet, great view of the river, and well maintained. This will be my first choice anytime i need a place in the area. Bonus: they had no issue with a short notice checkout extension time on our second stay
Overall 5 star once you take things in. Josh and Sara were great hosts, very responsive and accommodating, they truly want their guests to be comfortable and provide a number of little extra's for your stay. I do recommend this location but would want people to understand a few things to not be surprised when arriving:- Property and location: The road into the property is somewhat industrial and off road. (Sketchy) Once you reach the property though you'll understand. Very serene! While some buildings and houses are lil run down, Josh and Sara have great vision for their little oasis!Trains: There was a fair amount of train traffic day and night, I didnt find it bothersome though, it complimented the charm and location. Other dogs: Owners pup Roy, large friendly and well behaved German Sheppard lives off leash on the property. One of our dogs is not good with other dogs, but hosts were very good about keeping Roy contained while we had ours out. There were 2 other Sheppards there the first day, but also contained. The unit itself: Nice first floor, a little basement-ey, hosts live upstairs. The one thing I would recommend would be blinds or curtains that can block visibility into the unit from the outside. While its a private location its still a little uncomfortable being in a strange place with see through window coverings. Again a very nice place. I'd stay there again knowing the things to expect! Thanks for the hospitality Josh and Sara!

Apartment
Poor looking area, but apartment was fairly nice compared to the outside. The tenant upstairs was loud. The bed is old or tired because the mattress sinks in the middle, but it is super soft. The trains and jets were loud but didn’t affect a great night of sleep. Wish we had time and better access to the river. I would stay here for a single night again, but maybe not a longer stay.
