The host was unresponsive and could not be reached by any means. We were unable to obtain checkin confirmation or access information on the property. We ended up having to work with VRBO customer care which resulted in them cancelling the reservation after their failed attempts to reach the host. This was resolved the day we were expected to checkin and caused a lot of stress and grief trying to find other comparable accommodations at the last minute.
