Rancho Santana is a world-class resort and residential community located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. The Ranch boasts two Clubhouses that each have their own pools and are reserved for the exclusive use of owners and guests. Amazing view!

The property is wonderful. The view from the pool area is amazing with views of the entire coastline! We loved that all of the bedrooms opened out to the pool area and had views of the ocean! It was very convenient to the inn of Rancho Santana, the turtle sanctuary, and monkey sitings. We were there with our family, 8 yo 10 people, and it was perfect! Would absolutely stay here again.

The one thing that could be better

Our stay was phenomenal. The quality of the service, the quality of the food, and the quality of the grounds were beyond our expectations. Our only complaint is we were asked for proof of identification at the very last minute prior to our arrival. We completely understood the request, but the timing of the request was poor and caught us un-prepared. We were traveling with locals and the youngest didn't have her ID with her. Fortunately, her brother had a copy on his phone. Again, it wasn't the need for it that was a problem, it was requesting that it produced at the very last minute. Making it more obvious that this will be requested upon reservation of the facilities will make for a less stressful arrival.

Beautiful View

The house does not disappoint with a grand view of the pacific. The issue my group had that we believe could have been remedied was 1 bedroom smelled like insect spray and when we went into the room it had an issue with insects, especially ants that were on the floor and bed. My wife and I could not sleep in the room and luckily stayed in a place close by in which my daughter and fiancé had rented. It was in the same area but had less of an insect problem. Our group who remained except for my wife and I said that our bedroom was actually locked closed and toilet paper was not replenished or the property cleaned well. I am writing this review in the hopes that these problems can be worked on as the house appears to be on the newer side and has great potential to be a great rental property.

Our 7th trip to Nicaragua and 5th time staying in Rancho Santana

I’ll start by saying the house was lovely. The view and the set up was ideal for my family of 7. The check in process was easy. Per the property manager we were suppose to have the home cleaned every other day and the pool daily, but left out that no one would be out to clean the pool nor the house on Sunday. He also stated he could get us a cook, well she only showed 1 day and she was not very pleasant at all. Then she left without letting us know. We would message the manager and it would be hours and sometimes the next day before he would respond. Rancho is such a lovely place to stay but I would definitely go directly through Rancho Santana instead of using a property that is being rented on Rancho Santana’s property. You lose all your perks and the quality of service is diminished. Our standards were so high from our previous years of visiting, that this by far did not measure up. We would not rent the property again.

Amazing Stay with dreaming ocean view

This was my first thing trying this style of stay and my experience was amazing. Olga was welcoming and informative from the moment we arrive. The house and service was amazing. Overall 110% Happy with our stay. We will be back for Sure !
