Idea behind our apartment was to offer things that people would like to do every day but unfortunately do not have time, except on their holidays. Before building our apartment we asked dozens of our friends what they would like to do on their holiday. Their answers were our guidance. After all, we do not try to sell accommodation, we are trying to share our vision, passion and experience...

We can offer maximum privacy for our guests, but also we are ready to help them with any request they may have. We speak English, French, Korean and bit of German and Italian language...
Small but beautiful city Omis, hometown of ancient and famous pirates is just few miles away, surrounded with beautiful sand beaches... And Split, just 14 miles away is real Adriatic gem in which you will be able to explore emperor Diocletian palace and many shooting location from famous Game of thrones serial.... But if you are more nature type of person beautiful mountains and wonderful river Cetina will bring smile on your face for sure...

Public transportation is available but it is better to have your vehicle.

Absolutely amazing place, beautiful house with everything we needed in it, nice and clean and tidy when we arrived. Mirko and his wife were more than accommodating, they were able to transport us from and to the airport and also down into town when we were going out, really lovely people will definitely be coming back!!

This is by far the best equipped holiday apartment or villa we have ever stayed in. It was beautifully clean and everything you could need is provided. A great array of things to keep everyone in the family happy. The cinema / games room is excellent. A fridge full of essentials and store cupboard ingredients were also very much appreciated after a late evening arrival. Mirko and Olja are wonderful hosts - very kind and considerate from start to finish. A perfect holiday experience! Thanks!

Wonderful House with a perfekt host

We spent a wonderful holiday, Mirco is the perfect host, is always available with advice and action, gives numerous worthwhile tips and is happy to organize the desired activities with the help of his contacts. You really don't miss anything in the accommodation, so the six of us were able to enjoy our holiday without restrictions. Even a small supermarket can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. The surroundings in Gata are pleasantly quiet and Omis is a 10-minute drive away, all in all, we extended our holiday in Gata and will definitely be back!

Everything from booking, questions to the villa owner before arrival, check in and the help whilst we were there was nothing short of 5 star. The check in was perfect, Mirko also provided us with an amazing welcome pack which on our late arrival couldn’t have been better. The villa was amazing with everything you could want for all ages covered ( we had 2 boys aged 8 & 12, 2 girls aged 14 & 15 and 3 women) . Mirko and his wife couldn’t have been more helpful, taking us to the supermarket and wherever we needed to go. Helping us order takeaway one evening and arranging a boat trip for us. There was not anything we could complain about. We would definitely stay here again.

Wunderbare Pfingstferien in Gata

Wir waren während der Pfingstferien für 7 Tage bei Mirko zu Gast. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich inkl. Einweisung in die Liegenschaften, der Gastgeber nahm bereits im Vorfeld mit uns Kontakt auf und lotste uns direkt zu seinem Schmuckstück. In der Ferienwohnung fehlt es an nichts, man kommt an und startet direkt mit Erholung. Im Kühlschrank warteten kühle Getränke, Snacks und ein prallgefüllter Obstkorb. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut ausgestattet und der Reinigungszustand war wirklich top. Täglich um 10:30 Uhr kam ein Bäckerauto direkt vor die Haustür, der nächste Studenac ist ca. 3min entfernt. 3 Restaurants sind in wenigen Minuten leicht erreichbar, preislich deutlich günstiger als in Split bzw. Omis. Wir haben Pool und Whirlpool täglich genutzt, zur Abwechslung immer wieder eine Runde Billard, Darts oder Tischkicker. Leider hatten wir am 3. Urlaubstag einen medizinischen Notfall (Tochter Blindarm). Mirko war sofort zur Stelle und nahm mit mehreren Kliniken Kontakt auf. Er begleitete uns am Nationalfeiertag ins Klinikum nach Split und war stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir kommen gerne wieder und genießen unseren Urlaub dann in vollen Zügen (ohne Krankenhausaufenthalt). Die Ortschaft Gata ist sehr schön, ausgiebige Spaziergänge + sehr nette Menschen. Wir führten mit den Gastgebern viele nette Gespräche und tauschten uns über Gott und die Welt aus. Mirko ist ein wandelndes Lexikon, was den den kroatischen Sport betrifft :-) Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen! Echt Top!!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Mirko ! Nous avons pu trouver dans cet hébergement absolument tout ce qui était nécessaire pour passer d'excellentes vacances, aussi bien en équipement de première nécessité qu'en équipement de détente et de distraction. L'emplacement est parfait pour les ballades dans la nature et de nombreuses visites sont possible à proximité. Il n'y a absolument rien à redire, tout était parfait! Et l'accueil et la disponibilité de Mirko et son épouse sont absolument incroyable. Nous recommandons leur logement les yeux fermés !!

Fantastic host!

We recently stayed at Mirko’s property and can only say good things about it. Mirko himself was fantastic - couldn’t have been more helpful but very unobtrusive. He always quickly answered any questions we had and helped us out when we had some issues with a trip booking. The homemade cake and pancakes were delicious and appreciated by my family! The property was ideal for our family, the outside facilities were great. The pool was immaculate and bigger than we expected. An outside kitchen, barbecue, pool table were all very much enjoyed. Indoors had ample space in the main living area and kitchen. The bedrooms was also spacious and movie room was a bit of luxury. The gaming (ps4 and ps5) options also were enjoyed! A car is pretty much an essential if you want to go anywhere but the roads were great. Very little traffic and good condition. We travelled to Krka, Split, Omis and Mostar a few times and never had any bother with the roads. We would highly recommend the property. Thank you to Mirko for a fabulous holiday!

Toller Urlaub in perfektem Haus

Die Fotos haben nicht zu viel versprochen: das Haus ist einfach perfekt und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Sehr gute Aufteilung, viele Möglichkeiten des Zeitvertreibs: warmer, sauberer Pool, toller Jacuzzi, Billardtisch, Kicker, Dartscheibe, Fahrräder und elektronische Geräte und Konsolen, die keine Wünsche offen lassen. Das Haus liegt an einem Berg in ruhiger Gegend; man ist aber schnell über die Serpentinenstraße im schönen Ort Omis mit Anbindung an Split etc. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und großzügig. Neben Obst, Getränken und Verpflegung für den ersten Tag erwarteten uns alkoholische und nicht-alkoholische Getränke als Willkommensgeschenk. Die Gastgeber haben uns gut umsorgt und waren stets mit Rat und Tat an unserer Seite. Vor der Abreise gab es noch von ihnen zubereitete Pfannkuchen. So etwas haben wir noch nie erlebt! 100%-ige Empfehlung!!!!

Wonderful place, wonderful people!

Wow, wow, wow! Amazing villa and the most kind and generous hosts you could possibly wish for. First, the villa itself is very spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished with very effective air conditioning, comfortable beds and good showers. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to self cater, including all of the staples. What’s more, Mirko and Olya had kindly stocked the fridge with wine, beer, soft drinks, juice and snacks. Our children (13 and 10) were blown away by both the PS5 and the incredible cinema room – in fact they would have been happy not to have left the villa! The outside area is just wonderful, with a good sized pool at the perfect temperature and multiple activities to keep the kids occupied, including an excellent pool table. We spent many lazy days by the pool, enjoying simple toasties and a cold beer from the downstairs kitchen/fridge. The pool area also has a handy, spotless bathroom. The hosts were a delight from start to finish, even arranging a car for us. We had not booked one in advance and Croatia suddenly got very busy and there were no cars to be had – Mirko and Olya sorted it out immediately and came to meet us in Split to guide us home to the villa. They also showed us around Omis (pretty town, lovely beaches) and where to park. Mirko responded to every enquiry immediately. He arranged our excursions (rafting, ziplining, both wonderful), recommended excellent restaurants, and put us in touch with a fantastic masseuse (Barbara, so good we used her three times). We also spent a wonderful evening in Mirko and Olya’s company, learned about the region’s history and had many laughs! That said, they were extremely discreet and you would not have known they were there unless you requested something. They also kindly made me a delicious heap of pancakes for my birthday. The location – a 10 minute drive from Omis, up a mountain road with beautiful views. So peaceful, but everything is easily accessible, including our favourite restaurant in Omis, Bastion. Less than 5 minutes’ walk from the villa – one has lovely mountain views and does the best burgers our kids said they had ever eaten. The other a pizzeria/grill which also does takeaway if you fancy a movie night at home. We visited in summer, but this villa would also be a great for a winter stay, with so much to occupy adults and kids in the villa and so much to do in this beautiful area. Thank you Mirko and Olya, we hope to see you again!

Perfect!!

This was by far one of the most amazing holiday experiences my family and I have had. Firstly, the villa was beautiful, clean and well equipped. Air conditioning made it a comfortable stay. The view of the mountain from the villa is also spectacular. The pool area was perfect for chilling in the hot weather. There is a supermarket about 400m up the road and two local bars within the area. About 10 minutes drive down the mountain is the beautiful town of Omis. This is definitely worth a visit. Lots to do and see, including boat trips, and inflatable in the sea, pedlows, shopping, a fair and lots of bars and restaurants. This holiday was made even more enjoyable by the hosts Mirko and Ola. They went above and beyond to make our stay most pleasurable. We would like to say a huge thank you to you both for giving us lifts into Omis, giving us your knowledge of the area, for the sites that you took us too and for the star gazing!! You are both amazing people!! Thank you!!! The children and adults had the best time and we will hold onto these precious memories for a lifetime! Ps: Mirko's mum makes the best pancakes ever!

Villa Happy holiday

The apartment filled all our expectations! We especially liked that there was a outdoor kitchen and a WC at The pool area - we could spend the whole day there without ”interruptions”. Mirco and Olja were super friendly and helpful! We definitely would like to go back again some day!

First of all, Mirko & Olja are the kindest and most helpful hosts, one could hope for! They made our stay super easy with their helpful suggestions on what to see and do in the area. The apartment is great! Luxurious, well-designed, clean and with amazing amenities. You can really see, that each detail has been carefully thought through by the owners. The pool area was very nice, well maintained and a perfect place to unwind. There are some nice beaches within 10-15 minutes driving distance (Duče was our favourite), the whole Gata/Omis area is beatiful with it's breathtaking landscapes. We had such an wonderful vacation and enjoyed it so much, that we've already decided to return next year!;)

Why they chose this property

If your ideal vacation includes adrenaline, then with Omis you can definitely not go wrong. Nearly all activity on the sea, water, mountain or in the air located in the wider area are in offer.
Indeed, there are not many cities in the world where you can start your day with a rush on the river rapids, about noon to hang on a 100 meters high wire in the middle of the Cetina canyon, in the evening with the help of professional instructors climb the mountain peak . When you spend your vacation in Omiš, the question is how many different activities in a day your body can endure!
Most activities are adapted to all ages, and we continue to make only a fraction of the rich offerings of adrenaline experiences in the area of ​​Omis.
One of the greatest advantages of choosing Omiš as a place to spend your vacation is that Dalmatia is at your fingertips. Numerous islands, cities such as Split, Dubrovnik, Sibenik, Trogir, Zadar, well-known tourist attractions such as the Krka National Park and Blue and Red Lake are just an hour or two drive from the city center!
In every direction from Omis, it takes only few minutes for you to arrive at some famous tourist destination. Less than 25 kilometers north of Omis is the second largest city in Croatia - Split, with its famous Diocletian's palace, next to Split lies Trogir, a city museum and one of the few in the world whose entire historical core is under the highest degree of UNESCO protection. Sibenik and Zadar are famous tourist destinations, and a great number of tourists from Omis go for one-day excursions to the Krka national park, which you will arrive by A1 motorway in less than two hours of driving!
