5 star and AAA 4 diamond rated Villa La Valencia Resort in Cabo! This is one of the best luxury resorts in Mexico and one of our all-time favorite resorts in Cabo! This resort is only one of two resorts in Cabo with a lazy river! This resort is the perfect size. The resort has a contemporary and modern style that sets the mood for a relaxing vacation. The resort is large enough to have everything you need but small enough to retain a warm inviting atmosphere with incredible personal service! Everything is just steps away from your suite. The resort contains 308 suites with up to 4 bedrooms. The resort features multiple pools including an adults only pool, kids pool, activity pool, and beachfront infinity edge pool. There are multiple jacuzzis and the previously mentioned 1,114 ft lazy river! There is a full service spa as well as 4 restaurants and 24 hour room service. There is also an on-site grocery market with deli and ice cream. The resort features world class gourmet food, a kids club, and too many amenities to mention! The landscaping and night time lighting at this resort is something very special. This is truly a luxurious resort that is perfect for couples, families with kids, and multi-generational gatherings. We absolutely love this resort! The staff is fantastic! This resort is very modern and comfortable! Floating down the lazy river is a great way to spend an afternoon! This resort is not a party resort but maintains a fun and relaxing atmosphere. There are several nights that the resort hosts themed entertainment at the nightly buffet. The entertainment is very good and the buffet on "Mexican night" is the best.

This resort offers and all-inclusive food and beverage plan that is NOT included in this booking. This booking is for the suite only. The all-inclusive plan can be booked directly with the hotel either before arrival or at check in. As of Feb 2025 the all-inclusive plan was $150 per person / per day. This includes all restaurants, bars, room service, and in room snacks/mini bar. It does not include some premium dishes at some restaurants and some premium spirits. It does offer a very wide selection of beverages which included one of my favorite tequilas - tres generationes anjeo. The selection of liquor included at this resort for all-inclusive has often times been extra at other resorts.

The resort offers many activities throughout the day that are mostly free. There are activities for kids, young adults, and adults. don't miss the free cocktail making class and tequila tasting class!

All the pictures posted on this listing were taken on our last visit in February 2025. The views from the suites vary and no particular view is guaranteed, however, almost every suite in the hotel has a good view. Since we are elite level members of the preferred access club we are assigned better rooms than you generally get through booking directly. Rooms are assigned at check in and you can request a high floor, low floor, etc. and they will do their best to accommodate you. If you are concerned about room assignment and want to guarantee floor 8 or 9 with direct ocean view then we can book you into an elite suite with additional benefits for a slightly higher rate than quoted here.

Some things we love about the suites:
There are large TVs in both the living room and bedroom that allow you to stream entertainment directly from you phone or tablet! great for watching some netflix or Hulu in the evening!
The wi-fi is very fast and works everywhere in the resort including down on the beach!
The sheers and blackout curtains are motorized and controlled by a switch by the bed or couch.
The balcony is accessible from doors in both the bedroom and the living room. the doors are large and accordion to open very wide.
Two bathrooms, both with showers, is really nice. The master bathroom also has dual vanities with modern mirrors and everything you need for a comfortable stay!
The furniture and decor is very modern but more comfortable than typical resorts.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you may need to prepare meals if you choose to do so.
there is a washer and dryer in the suite which is awesome for longer stays!
The spa at this resort is fantastic! The massage I had recently was one of the best I have ever had!
The gym is super nice and has everything you could need for a workout.. but, really?, who works out on vacation! :-)
The beach directly in front of the resort is not swimmable due to the heavy surf but you can walk about 50 yards down the beach and swim in front of the Solaz resort.
Fun fact! Sammy Hagar's beach house is right next door to Villa La Valencia - still hoping to see him on the beach sometime ;-)
This resort is pretty convenient to the airport (25 min), San Jose Del Cabo (20 min), and Downtown Cabo/Marina (25 min). Uber is available in Cabo.
There is a nice grocery store near Palmillia, only about 5 min drive away.
