This was our second stay at this property. The location is perfect, just steps from Wind & Sea beach and close to all the shops and restaurants in La Jolla. There is a gourmet grocery market, great coffee, and a bakery within a five minute walk. The cottage has everything you need, air conditioning, ceiling fans, and parking (both the garage and on street) are simple. The onsite shared laundry allows you to pack light. Check in and communications with the host and follow ups were top notch. Highly recommend.

Spectacular location! We had such a wonderful time. The home was perfect for us and our baby. Love that it’s a gated rental. Parking was ample. Quick walk to the beach it could not have been nicer. We hope to be back!

There is a lot to like about this property, but the primary photo for the listing is misleading. It shows a picture of a wooden outdoor dining table plus a cozy outdoor couch seating area with a gas fire table and string lighting. Be advised that you will not have access to that lovely seating area in the picture, only the weathered, uncomfortable dining table. There are four units on this property and each one has its own outdoor seating area, which is for that unit only. There is no sharing of the outdoor spaces. This unit got the short end of that stick, so don't be deceived by the lead photo. I communicated with Management regarding this the day I checked in, and they agreed the photo was misleading, and promised to somehow make things right. This never happened during our stay of seven days, and now one week post stay despite multiple empty promises. I am checking this property off my list now, and hopefully this review will prompt Management to use a more accurate photo or at least be up front and crystal clear about the outdoor use policy.

front gate

Great unit - extremely clean and comfortable in a super location. Our only issue was how to use the front gate lock which locked us out a couple of times. No explanation on sequence to lock or unlock.....your staff was very responsive with the correct code# but not how to apply. 1)punch in the code; 2) watch red light blink to green; 3) turn deadbolt to open the gate. Please include this for guests in the future. Otherwise a really nice place we would definately stay at again. *****also I left a pair of blue sneakers in the unit - can you send those to my home address?
