Perfect winter getaway.
The cute house is in perfect location. Close to kiteboarding activity and short 15-20 min walk to the restaurants. The interior is simple but has all what one needs.
The house has a beautiful back yard - perfect place for morning coffe. There is big outdoor sofa which de facto became my favorite place to read a book.
The owner is very responsive. When unexpected very cold weather happened _she shipped warm duvet right away. When we needed dryer repair - handyman came within few hours. Overall great place which we enjoy very much and coming again next year.
Stay January 2018.

About the host
Hosted by Ceres
I retired early from the corporate world to enjoy life. As a former Air Force brat, then a corporate nomad, I've lived in 21 cities so far. I've also traveled to dozens of countries on five continents. I hope our little slice of paradise in quirky Key West reflects my architectural background and love of travel. And I hope you enjoy our cottage and Key West as much as we do.
Why they chose this property
Our cottage has great feng shui. You know how some places just "feel right" when you walk into them? During our house hunt in Key West, the minute we opened the front door and looked all the way through to the lush green backyard, I knew we were home. It's bright, comfy and has a warm energy about it. The large, blissful backyard (rare in Old Town) clinched the deal. Now you can chill in the hot tub sipping Margaritas overlooking the lush backyard, listening to birds chirp. In terms of location, it's far enough from Duval that you don't get caught up in all the traffic and craziness, but close enough you can walk or bike there and to the Seaport area, as well as to Higgs Beach. There are more than a dozen restaurants within a 15 minute walk, as well as a small grocery store, mini mart, CVS, etc.
