About the host
Hosted by David

Alison and David are relatively new to Wakefield. They are well travelled and have and do spend a lot of their leisure time travelling.
When they travel they look for the quality end of the market saying that you wouldn't leave the comfort of home to stay somewhere which isn't as good.
Alison moved from Dublin to Yorkshire some 30 years ago and looks forward to one day owning a property in Dublin where her two sisters and Mum still live.
David is more local, from Leeds in Yorkshire. Though he has lived in the area all his life, his formative life was spent sailing the World in the Merchant Navy. Having achieved his first big goal of visiting Australia at the tender age of 17, he has visited and spent time in all four corners of the Globe.
The couple are very much hands on with their Short Term Letting business with another apartment in Wakefield and a lovely Holiday Let in Whitby, where they spend regular time on the North Yorkshire coast.

Why they chose this property
Wakefield is close at hand and the opportunity came up to take on two apartments near to home where we can take care of our guests without being intrusive
What makes this property unique
Rhubarb Loft and Rhubarb Corner although in the same building are completely different to each other in style. However, the sites are in the leafy area of St Johns and provide a peaceful safe haven for guests to enjoy the area, but close to motorway and rail networks which allows easy access to all areas of Yorkshire and a suitable alternative to the hustle and bustle of Leeds
