Beautiful property, quiet and serene yet easy to get to. Hosts were great, check in and check out was a breeze. Plenty to do on the property, in the cabin, or the surrounding areas. Will be back.

Nightmare
As we drove up to the property. I was not impressed. It was not welcoming. The property felt uncared for. Upon entering the house we immediately noticed how dirty it was. Dead bugs on the windowsill and floors, a good layer of dust on everything, The floors were dirty. We moved furniture to watch a movie. A large amount of trash was under the furniture. We have never had a mouse problem in our own home. We started to notice these little piles of black rice in cupboards and drawers. We were so desperate to have a quiet vacation that we brushed it off. The final straw that motivated us to vacate the property abruptly was we noticed mice were eating our food. We threw away a large amount of food. We had to wipe down everything we brought with Colorox wipes. We spent a day washing all of our clothing. We had to pay for a night in a hotel, we were unable to cook our food, so we had to pay eat out. The owner offered to pay us for one night for the inconvenience. This pales in comparison in to what we went through. I sent a message to the owner after we left and they did not respond for six hours. We contacted VRBO. The owners did not respond until the following day. The house needs a deep, deep, deep clean. The laundry room and kitchen need a deep clean. Declutter the entire house. We will not be returning.
We arrived at the property but it was clearly occupied by others. We called the host multiple times but they did not respond to phone calls or messages via the app. We finally found their home (adacent to the VRBO) and they realized that they had double booked. We were unable to stay. While I am sure that this was rare event for them, and the host seemed sincerely sorry, it ruined our planned vacation. We were fully refunded but that does not compensate the false hope of a vacation, the hours of additional travel or the cost of last-minute replacement accomidations. The cabin seemed nice and it is exactly what we were hoping for... just not what we got.
The host were very nice people and quick to response to emails on just a couple questions I had,
The place is a beautiful log home talked away about a half a mile back in the woods. It is completely beautiful trails wildlife. We loved it and plan on visiting again.
Beautiful porperty, secluded and quiet-just what we were looking for.
We had a great time at the property. It was off the beaten path, which is what we were after. Saw lots of wildlife and had a wonderful time sitting around the fire pit chatting until the wee hours. Love the decor and the layout of the cabin. Our trip was a quilting tour of mid-Missouri, and the cabin was in the perfect spot to visit Hamilton and all the other towns that had quilt shops. We would love to return to visit again sometime!
The home was very welcoming and homey feeling. We absolutely loved the nature we got to experience and being so far out in the woods! Frogs surrounded the cabin each evening we stayed; it was a pretty neat experience to say the least. The only complaint we had was cleanliness but it wasn't to awful. If we are ever in that area again this def would be another option for us to stay here! enjoyed all the dirt roads going to and from cabin as well. IN our home town thats not much of an option around where we are from.
The location and home was perfect proximity to where our daughter was married. It was very convenient. We even managed to fit in a tour of the near by Walt Disney museum.
Circle O Lodge was the perfect place to get away from "life". It was so peaceful and beautiful!! We enjoyed the trails and the outside space as much as the inside space. It was ALL wonderful!
As usual this was a wonderful stay. Such a beautiful and peaceful place. We stay here once to twice a year, to relax and recharge. Absolutely love and recommend this place.
This is our second time to stay here. We’ve stayed here late summer and early winter. Regardless of the season, this is such a peaceful and relaxing place to just be quiet, listen to and watch nature, and refresh your spirit. The cabin is very comfortable and well stocked and the owners are responsive and very welcoming.
Great secluded cabin for our 2023 hunting camp. The hosts were great and very responsive, and the property was clean and fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location to stop for a couple days to and form Colorado. Everyhting was very clean and it had a home feel to it. The host were great and communicated well. We will for sure keep them in mind for any other "Out West" trips. Thanks again!
Very close to the Walt Disney Hometown Museum. I was there for the Dreaming Tree Gala. I wish I had more time to enjoy the property. I'll definitely stay there again!
Beautiful cabin and surroundings. Very quiet and peaceful.
Trains going through crossings in the distance. Good fishing. Interesting town nearby. Just doesn't get much better.
All I can say is that The Circle O Lodge was a wonderful experience. From living in the city with the hustle and bustle to vacationing with only the sounds of nature was breath taking. This lodge has everything you could possibly need including extra blankets and toiletries. The kitchen was stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. The only thing we needed to bring was our food.
We especially enjoyed the fire pit where the children made smores and the adults could sit around the fire and sip wine. The lodge was fully supplied with games to play and movies to watch on those unfortunate rainy days.
This was truly a fantastic vacation where we could return to nature and enjoy each other’s company. Will definitely be back.
Thanks for your wonderful hospitality.

The whole family enjoyed the paddle boat on the pond and the hikes on the trails. We were even lucky enough to catch some fish. Sat by the fire pit and enjoyed the time together.
After living in town close to a freeway it was so nice to be away from the noise and people. To be able to just sit outside listen to the birds and frogs while enjoying a cup of coffee. Priceless. If you enjoy hiking and fishing the trails and private pond are nice too, good place to just unplug and relax.
