About this property

Waterfront home on the lake shore of Beautiful Lake Memphremagog, Newport, VT.

A nice waterfront three bedroom home in a peaceful neighborhood located on a quiet Lane on the western shores in Newport VT. Great lake views whether your sitting at the dining room table, on the deck or lounging out on the lawn. There are two bedrooms with queen size beds and one with a full size bed. The kitchen is fully furnished along with dishes and utensils. Linens and towels are furnished and a washer and dryer are there for your use. The living room offers a TV and WiFi is also included. A propane grill is located just off the patio for your grilling pleasures. You are only minutes away from restaurants, shopping, bike path, cinema, city dock and marina yet it feels like you are away from it all. Jay Peak is only a half hour away where you can enjoy a large indoor water park and possibly a Tram ride to the top where you can view the sweeping vistas.
The lake is accessible via stairs and/ or a foot path whichever you prefer and lends itself to boating, fishing and swimming. A ladder on the dock is available for those that choose to swim and water shoes are recommended.

The cottage was so nice on a beautiful, peaceful piece of property on Lake Memphremagog! Bring an extra fan if you get hot at night for the bedroom but other than that the cottage has all you’ll need for your stay. Dennis and his wife were so sweet and checked in during the week to see if we needed anything. It was a great week of peaceful reading by the lake and fun swimming and floating.

Amazing stay at the lake house

The lake house is in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the lake. It is only 5 minutes away from the Newport city centre hence you are not far away from the restaurants and bike and kayak rentals. The lake house is small but well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Overall, a great stay.
