This iconic cottage is perfectly positioned on the corner of The Loop in the center of Wrightsville Beach and features a Little Free Library on the corner for the community and cottage guests to enjoy. The spacious front porch provides ample seating and is the best place to kick back and unwind in the subtle sea breeze. The great room of this immaculate cottage is accented by the vaulted ceiling with exposed beams, cozy seating options, a large family style dining table, and cheery pops of color. You will instantly feel at home! Snuggle up on the couch with a plush throw blanket and your favorite book after the sun goes down or catch up on your favorite shows.

Upstairs is a darling guest room that is perfect for kids. Furnished with two queen beds, this nautical room is sure to inspire a feeling of wonder and magic. An oversized chair makes a perfect space to read nighttime stories to youngsters or to escape for a little rest and relaxation. There is also a full bathroom with walk in shower for added convenience.

Downstairs you will find two bedrooms, both furnished with lush king-sized feather beds that pull you in and let your cares float away. There is a full bathroom with walk in shower and dual sinks that are shared by these rooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to make a family meal – it even includes a Margaritaville margarita machine because it is always 5 o’clock at the “Sand Crab Cottage”! Enjoy cooking on the gas range or grilling out and eating at the shaded picnic table.

Don’t forget to take advantage of the toy shed. Whether you want to boogie board in the surf, pack a beach cooler with ice and cold drinks, play a game of cornhole, or go for a bike ride around the island you are sure to find fun here. There is also an enclosed outdoor shower so that you can rinse off after a long day in the sun and sand.

Guests of the cottage will enjoy the vantage point and people watching from the cozy front porch. To the left of the cottage, it's a short stroll to the beach. To the right of the cottage, a short stroll to Banks Channel where you can access the intracoastal waterway. Johnny Mercer Pier is also close by for fun, fishing, and meeting up with friends. Walk to great restaurants and shops. Or just relax on the front porch and watch the world go by. From the finest linens and feather beds to charming decor, to the welcome mat for your well-behaved dogs, The Sand Crab Cottage is a rental experience not to be missed. Stay Requirements: Saturday to Saturday rental in summer. Minimum of 3-night stay in other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 2 King, 2 Queen.
Parking: Driveway can accommodate 3 vehicles.
Pet Policy: Dogs welcome with a nonrefundable fee. Maximum of 2 dogs per reservation.
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Boats, Trailers, RV’s, SMOKING anywhere on premises, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
