The Timmel House is a privately-owned, 3 bedroom/2 bath vacation home located in the heart of the village of Pinehurst - just steps away from local shopping, unique restaurants and historic Pinehurst sights.

This trendy home-away-from-home features updated appliances, countertops, plush beds, hotel quality linens and everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation surrounded by the history and charm of Pinehurst. Whether you have come to play some of the best golf courses in the world or are looking to find a peaceful place to write your next book, the Timmel House is your destination!

The Timmel House is designed for comfort with an open floor plan and oak hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully-equipped for all your cooking needs including cooking basic needs and spices. Stainless steel appliances, beautiful granite counter tops, kitchen island and wet bar. The dining room is perfect for inviting guests to share a meal or for a romantic dinner for two.

The living room is welcoming with comfort in mind. Lounge with your iPad in hand or catch a nap. Watch your current shows, your favorite team play and enjoy unlimited Netflix movies during your visit on the HD LCD television with BluRay DVD. AppleTV and WiFi is available with a secure access code given upon arrival.

The Murray Bedroom features a pillow-top king-sized bed, an HD LCD TV, 2 dressers for storage and closet space for your luggage. En suite bathroom with his/hers vanity & a walk-in custom shower.

The Franklin Bedroom features two (2) pillow-top queen-sized beds and can accommodate 2-4 people. The dresser and closet space provides plenty of room for your luggage.

The Smith Bedroom features a twin over full bunk bed. This room includes one of the largest closets in the house so you can put away all your luggage.

The Timmel House also has a covered screened-in porch with chairs to sit and enjoy a southern evening. Plus, the open patio has a Weber gas grill and grilling tools ready to use at all times. The quaint manicured lawn lends itself to a game of bocce ball or lounging in one of our outdoor chairs.

The Timmel House welcomes babies and well-behaved children and is very kid-friendly. A children's high chair, pack 'n play and baby tub are available upon request to meet the needs of your family. Please let us know if you need any or all of these during your stay. And be sure to ask us for directions - one of the best playgrounds in town is only a few blocks away!

An attached laundry room features an extra large LG front load washer & dryer, an ironing and folding area and separate utility sink. Plus, there is ample storage for golf clubs, bikes or other items that need to be locked away.

Amazing Home In The Heart of Pinehurst

This home is a gem, located truly in the village with walking access to shops and restaurants and bikes to take you further if needed. The house was cute, clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this house and the hosts who made us feel more like welcome personal guests than renters.

Perfect place to stay in Pinehurst

The Timmel house is a wonderful place to stay during a trip to Pinehurst. The house itself is in beautiful condition, clean, and just like in the pictures. Wi-Fi speeds were great - 230 Mbps. And the location is perfect. There's not a better or more central location to be found in all of Pinehurst. It's only a short walk to anything you want or need.

Superb Style, Great Location

I came down for a guys golf weekend. The house was in a perfect location. I was able to walk to all the great restaurants and bars in downtown, and it made my stay so much more enjoyable. The proximity to the golf clubs restaurants and other amenities was exactly what I was looking for in a house to rent in Pinehurst. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who's willing to stay.

Perfect spot in the Village

If you're looking for the perfect walkable location in the village this is it! Great home, very comfortable, perfect for my parents who find steps a challenge, loved the back screened porch for coffee. Very comfortable and perfect location. Great Pinehurst Location

This rental was perfect for our college girlfriend reunion. Four of us met there and had a great time. The house is in a great location. You can walk to just about everything in the Pinehurst Village or take a short drive. The house is clean and had everything we needed. I wish we had booked it for an extra night.

Perfect location

We stayed at the Timmel house during US Open week and it was perfect. Close to the village and easy to access the tournament. The host communicated often and was very helpful. The house was clean and well furnished. We especially enjoyed coffee on the screen porch. Look forward to going back. On our final night we walked to Pine Crest Inn for a great dinner.

Perfect location in the heart of the old Village of Pinehurst. Cute ranch home that has been remodeled and fit our 5 adults comfortably. Easy check in and checkout. We have spent the month of April in Pinehurst for the past several years! We have stayed in some very nice properties but this one is our favorite. Just steps for the center of the Village, The Pinecrest Inn, the Pinehurst Brewery and all of the Pinehurst properties. Our daily walks let us explore the winding roads throughout the Village! Very comfortable and quite. Highly recommend especially for a longer term stay!

Great Golf Guy Weekend!

The Timmel House is perfectly situated in the Village of Pinehurst---it was walking distance from many restaurants, including Dugan's Pub and the Ryder Cup at the Carolina Hotel, and local attractions like the Village shops. I took a group of guys down for a golf weekend--- the owner's put a lot of thought into the decorating which made it very comfortable for us and the space was extremely new and clean. I would say this house would also be perfect for a family getaway. No complaints at all here and I can't wait to go again!!!

College friends for 50 years! Pinehurst is Our home away from home. House is perfect for us and can’t beat the location! Charming and spotless. Fresh flowers and a welcome bottle of wine. Boys' Golf Trip

Absolutely perfect property. Three college golf buddies down for a charity tournament. The rest of the participants were staying at the Pine Crest Inn just across the street. We were so much more comfortable in a home with a yard, and the location was excellent. I would stay here every trip to Pinehurst if possible!
