My husband and son stayed the night before heading to Mammoth Cave. Fun little game area and our son was excited for the basketball goal and football that was provided. They had some snacks and coffee available as an extra touch. The outdoor area in the back was also nice.

Location was perfect for our trip to Mammoth Cave. Beds were comfortable and we had plenty of space for our family of 5. The kids loved the game tables and even shot some hoops despite the heat.

The property was beautiful and clean and had thoughtful additions like a high chair, play pin, basket ball for playing outside, and plenty of svds books and board games. Great place to stay and very close to mammoth cave visitor center.

Nice place to stay!

The house is great and is very close to Mammoth Cave National Park. We really enjoyed our stay. Checking in and out was easy and the owners were available to answer any questions we had. The property was well stocked and had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

This house was amazing, love the setting. Very clean and the host wonderful. Fire pit area so comfortable. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I can not think of anything wrong with the house. I do like a softer mattress . But it was so quiet, I slept like a baby. Oh I can’t forget the front porch, sitting in the swing having my coffee was a dream come true.

We had a great time in this wonderful house. The hosts included so many thoughtful touches--high chair and pack-and-play for little ones, lots of games and videos for indoor entertainment (we didn't even mind a couple days of rain!) a basketball, grill and fire pit with comfy seating, rocking chairs on the front porch, and the most well stocked kitchen I've even encountered in a short term rental. The house was comfortable and super clean. Staying here made a Mammoth Cave vacation an amazing experience for our family--so much wonderful family down time after a day in the park, complete with deer, fireflies, and birdsong to finish out the day around the firepit. We couldn't have asked for more!

The house was terrific. We all wish we could have stayed another day or two. Besides the well-equipped kitchen, the beds were great and there was a tv in every room! It really worked out well for our 3-generation stay. It was tough to pull our 3rd-grade grandson away from the foosball table, air hockey, and basketball net and our granddaughter loved the "Connect Four" game. We had a wonderful time and appreciated all the decor.

Perfect location if you are looking to enjoy the Mammoth Cave National Park. The home is great for families, super clean, loaded with games , movies and books for adults and kids. The hosts are super responsive to any inquiries you may have. We are so happy we found this property

The Perfect Post-Cave Recharge Station

We booked this home as a base for our family trip to Mammoth Cave, and it turned out to be a highlight of the entire experience. The location is fantastic—just a short drive from the national park, close enough to get to morning tours without sacrificing coffee or sanity.The house itself was extremely clean, spacious, and tastefully updated. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully arranged. My wife was especially impressed by the layout—it struck the perfect balance between open and cozy. She even said, “This is the kind of place I’d love to retire in once the kids are off at college.”We all had plenty of room to stretch out, cook meals, and recharge between cave adventures. The beds were comfortable, and the HVAC system kept everything at the perfect temperature.In short: if you're heading to Mammoth Cave, this home is an excellent place to return to after a day of subterranean wonder. Clean, modern, and calming. Would absolutely stay again.

If your family is planning a Mammoth Cave Trip and the whole outdoor camping in a tent isn't quite your thing, stay here! It's secluded, has a cute fire pit area where you can roast marshmallows and hotdogs, look up at the nights sky and see thousands of stars, and there's plenty of deer that visit the property. All this without having to set up a tent site. Plus the kids LOVED having a basketball goal and their own downstairs area equipped with games and enough beds to accommodate 4 of them. Convenient location only about 15 - 20 minutes away from everything you need. The host communicated very efficiently and it was a seamless check in/ out. If I had to nitpick, literally the only thing I can even think to say is that some of the mattress are very firm. Too firm for my preference, but someone's type is so variable that you just can't please everyone. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the area.

Very conscientious hosts. The house was very clean, and was supplied with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts quickly responded with all questions we had and even went out of their way to ensure the restaurant they suggested was open on a holiday. The kids really enjoyed the game room and the fire pit is amazing, although unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate well enough for us to use it. We would definitely stay again.
