The perfect family or couple stay is waiting in this beautifully appointed beach unit. Our king bed and lounge type sectional are for the ultimate relaxation after a day at the beach.

Fully equipped kitchen is available to serve full home cooked meals (or beach snacks!). Full beach gear, outdoor dining, and more!

The beach is steps out of the front door, ready for beach walks, play, and sunsets on demand.

The neighboring property has begun rebuilding post hurricane. Their work may cause occasional daytime noise/traffic (a specific timeline of projects is not available to us) Our home is not affected, and we’ll do our best to keep your stay comfortable. The beach and beach access are open, beautiful. A large portion of the key in general is still heavily recovering and some form of construction may be encountered with the one main road on the key.

The Salty Surfer is family owned and we greatly appreciate your support of our community during rebuilding, excited to have you as our guest.

The place was beautiful, just as the pictures showed. Impeccably clean. Good bedding, towels. Just steps from the beach. The host made sure we had ice in the freezer, a few waters, also provided coffee, tea and other amenities. I would highly recommend the Salty Surfer!

The room was so cute and cozy. The beach is so close which was great and the host made the check in process so easy! The kitchen was also stocked with every piece of cookware making meal time easy.

The beach was a short walk up the road (maybe 100 steps /-). The apartment was very spacious, well furnished, and had a very nice private outdoor space. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful place to stay. Very clean and comfortable, quality furnishings and everything we needed was supplied. Mattress was really comfortable :-) Nice back patio, short walk to the beach. Parking right outside the front door. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach. The place was spotless when we arrived, and check-in was quick and easy. Everything inside feels updated and well cared for, making it a really comfortable stay. Having Wi-Fi was a nice bonus. The owners were fantastic with communication—reaching out before our arrival and available if we needed anything during the trip. I’ve stayed in this area before, and this has definitely been the best place so far!

This place sets the bar for all other rentals! Top notch, they have thought of everything. Beautifully decorated. Perfectly stocked with all you will need for several days. High quality amenities. It’s even better when you run into some of the family on the beach. Looking forward to seeing you again Dennis for that trip. And Miles…he gifted us with shells to remember the trip with. First Time to Manasota Key

This property is a delightful condo just a short stroll to the beautiful Englewood Beach on Manasota Key. The property was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was well stocked with towels and shower supplies, the number of kitchen cooking utensils were impressive and the beach chairs and supplies were useful. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the beach was beautiful and uncrowded - a perfectly relaxing experience. We highly recommend this property to others.

We are just leaving Salty Surfer on our journey back home When a rental has a rating of 10 ,I’m usually a little skeptical but if I could give this rental a higher rating than 10 I would. It’s in the perfect location , just a minutes walk to the beach and an easy walk or bike ride to good restaurants and other beaches The owner has thought of everything one could possibly need from very nice beach chairs ,beach wagon, cooler and a sharks teeth scoop and more . The kitchen was thoughtfully equipped . There is a lovely private outdoor area . It’s a nice place to enjoy a cocktail or eat dinner .The sectional in the living area is super comfy and the king size bed is very comfortable and well appointed. The shower is even stocked with shampoo conditioner and soap. There was nothing more we could even think to ask for in a beach rental

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property in Englewood Beach on Manasota Key. My husband is disabled so it’s always a little worrisome, assessing property pictures and getting information from owners to determine if a place will meet our needs. The owner was totally responsive and got back to me right away, and the property was beautiful and comfortable and completely met our needs. The best part was the very easy access up a ramp to a seating area that overlooked the Gulf of Mexico. My husband was able to sit out and watch while I walked up and down the beach, collecting shells and swimming. Can’t recommend this place enough and I am counting the days till I can get back there.
