You'll have the run of the house in our serene and comfortable Spanish home in the heart of the city, just North of Culver City and near the border of Beverly Hills. Located about halfway between the beach and downtown. Walkable to Pico Robertson restaurants, a weekly farmers market and nearby shopping center (Target, Starbucks, Ross, CVS, quick bites). A short drive to Culver City, Beverly Hills, West Hollywood and 3rd St restaurants. Enjoy our backyard with fire table, twinkly lights, sofa and dining table. Make yourself at home in this upgraded Spanish home with modern amenities, vintage touches and luxury furnishings. Dine al fresco in the backyard or lounge in the outdoor seating at the front or rear. Pick fresh lemons for homemade lemonade. Enjoy movie nights on a 75" Smart TV in the den. Sonos speakers & high speed wireless. 9ft pool table. Giant jenga. Recumbent exercise bike. Well appointed kitchen with dual oven and combination air fryer/microwave. Super automatic espresso machine, drip machine, french press, electric kettle. Propane grill outdoors. This is our home. We’ve lived here for near 20 years and as we head towards retirement we are looking to travel more. That means renting out our home to help fund our travel and make sure our sweet cat Keller is cared for. For longer stays we would like to take her with us when we can. For shorter stays, she comes with the house. It’s her home too
Why they chose this property
This is such an amazing neighborhood. You wouldn’t know driving past down the large la Cienega Blvd but tucked into the neighborhood is this wonderful community of vintage homes and tree lined streets. The neighbors are lovely and the central location is fantastic with so much available within a 15 minutes drive.
What makes this property unique
We’ve curated our home to be our sanctuary, with a cushy but firm custom sofa and solid teak imported furniture. Light dimmers in every room. A lush front yard with sago palms and purple flowering jacaranda trees. Green back yard with citrus trees and twinkly lights. We’ve collected art that makes us smile - with Dr Seuss’s Sneetches, Lorax, and other whimsical artwork by local and renowned artists. Sonos speakers are connected to allow music in every room and backyard. This home is our refuge from the city. We hope you’ll love it too.
