Waterfront Intracoastal Semi-Detached Family-home, pool, walk to the beach and the downtown of Lauderdale by the Sea.

Florida is an excellent rental for families or larger groups. Three bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, a large living room, a kid Billiard table, laundry, a pool area with Tiki Hub, a BBQ grill, plenty of lounge chairs, and an outdoor table on the waterway. It is a quiet family neighborhood, centrally located two blocks from the beach and 5 minutes from the entertainment area of Lauderdale by the Sea—twenty minutes from the airport. Getting to golf, fishing, shopping, casinos, and nightlife is easy.

Comfortable get away

This is a nice family friendly place to stay! The retired couple next door were friendly and easy to share the pool with. The house had everything you need to keep house and the home was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed being close to shops and the beach! Would stay here again.

This was a great place. Exactly as described. Furniture was nice. Very clean. Close to the beach , restaurants and shopping. Fantastic family vacation spot. Early check in was appreciated. Pool was clean and nice. Kids loved all the iguanas. We would definitely stay here again.

Great house

This is a older house close to the beach. It's not perfect but a great location within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to shops. Outside is great, very nice big pool and enough chairs. Owners are very helpful with the booking prices.

Everything you need

This home is beautiful, you can’t beat the backyard view. But the best part is having everything you need for a stress free vacation. No need to worry about buying or renting beach chairs, beach boys, or even packing beach towels. They have you covered! This was my first time not booking a regular hotel, and I may never again. This place felt like home! Space was clean, the guy who cares for the landscaping was friendly and helpful when we ran into him. Owner was responsive and friendly with any questions that came up. Overall, a great vacation and stay.

Very relaxing

I felt like everything was as listed and shown in the pictures but even better. Very roomy (4 adults, 2 teens) so no one felt crowded. We were at the pool out back every day, so relaxing. The beach really is only 2 min away and very sandy versus having tons of shells to walk on/over. Very close to restaurants and stores for supplies (we did 2 or 3 Dollar Tree runs. Lol). Had a nice time and was quite relaxing.

Location location location

The location of this property was great. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and bars. The outside of the house is beautiful with the pool on the waterway. The house itself is in need of some updating. I truley expected the old house feel (one thing I love about Lauderdale-by-the-Sea) but the furniture is terrible in the family room. The master bathroom door would t close. The washer and dryer are really old as well. With all that said we loved staying here and really enjoyed our trip.

Amazing location on the intracostal!

This house was the perfect setting for our winter getaway! There is a nice sized pool in the backyard with inflatable toys for the kids. Then you are right on the intracostal waterway. The views are incredible, and we also took out kayaks on the intracostal which was amazing. Then the beach is just a few short minutes away - close enough to run back if you forget something. Plenty of shopping in walking or short driving distance. Check out the farmers market if you are there on Sunday. The house is a bit dated but we didn't mind that, though some repairs are needed, especially the master bathroom door which does not close. The backyard and pool area are shared with the next-door unit, which in the winter is rented by a very lovely retired couple. Sabrina was very reachable as well with any questions or issues. Overall, you are getting an unbeatable location at a reasonable price. We would stay here again.

Nice stay but poor house condition

Upon arriving we were very disappointed by the look of the home! The roof was visibly not well maintained, the house is definitely in need of a paint job and the lawn and landscaping were way passed the need to be cut. It is probably one of the lesser maintained homes on the street. Once inside the property, it looked much like the photos on VRBO however there were countless things that needed to be attended to. The walls, doors and baseboards look as if they had never been cleaned. Many lightbulbs were burned out. The tiles in the second bathroom had water seeping up through them as they were walked on and the metal shower drain in that bathroom was bent up. Definitely a hazard, especially for children. The kitchen was in good shape though and there were plenty items available for meal making. There was a beautiful view from the back patio but upon arrival the pool was full of leaves, seeds, etc. A maintenance man did arrive later that evening to clean up the pool and the following day to tend to the lawn. However the damage in our minds had been done as first impressions are everything. The location of the property is perfect for getting to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea by foot and the surrounding areas by car. Sabrina was easy to contact by text and was good to work with prior to arrival. All in all we liked the area for our family vacation but the home was way below the quality we had hoped for.

Clean place in a great location, but very hot when temps were only mid to upper 80's.More standing oscillating fans would help, and ceiling fans in front bedrooms are small and move too slow to cool the rooms down

It was too hot in the house. Sweating all the time. The picture of the pool is old. It needs painting to look like that picture. Otherwise it was good. Mainly just too hot.

Overall the house was nice. The backyard was very nice having a pool and being on the intercoastal was nice, but the photos of the house on the listing definitely look like they may have been taken several years ago as the house was not as clean and up to date when we arrived

House with pool

The stay was really nice. The house is well equipped with everything you would need. The walk to the beach is ok..my daughter says it's fun, and the neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Summers are really hot in South Florida and the house can be a little hot at night eventhoough it has ceiling fans in every room specially the kids bedroom. Other than that we really enjoy the stay. Thanks to the owner Sabrina for everything!!

Great vacations!

Nice house near everything ( beach, groceries, restaurant). Communication with owners was good and their responses were quick. Yes, the house might be a little old but it is perfect! You got everything to go to the beach (stroller, cooler, etc). If you have a baby, there is also a lot of stuff! I highly recommend this place!

Family Vacation in Fort Lauderdale

Our stay in Fort Lauderdale was pleasant. The location was great, close walk to the beach and downtown. Sabrina answered any questions I had very promptly, which was appreciated. The property was as described and pictured but once we got there in person, we could see that the house is in need of some TLC. That being said, I would stay at the house again should I ever decide to return to the area.

Yearly family beach vacation

Wonderful trip with our three young kids! Sabrina was very prompt and answered all our questions! They also had literally everything you could need down there for the beach, pool and for kids to play with. We would love to go back again! The house needs some updates, especially for when it rains, but other than that it was wonderful.
