We enjoyed our stay in Budapest. This was the first time anyone in our travel group had visited Hungary and we found the city beguiling. The rental was fairly central, on the Pest side of the Danube. We found the area around the rental (and even within the bldg) to be quite noisy. There were a lot of younger people around partying. Also, the very narrow stairs that we all had to climb to get up to our loft rooms were a surprise and a challenge for one member of our party who recently had his knees replaced. Also, none of us could stand at our full height after climbing up to the loft rooms, which was weird. This is really (IMO) a rental for a younger group. Anyway, we are glad we visited. All the best.
