Lake-life nature escape - heated pool & gorgeous sunrises!

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space just feet away from the lake. Imagine sipping on your morning coffee or having a zen moment on your yoga mat from the back pool deck, watching the birds, turtles, and yes alligators as the sun comes up. Soak in the beautiful, peaceful, and natural surroundings and views. Grab your spot in the morning sun - this is the exhale you needed.
Water's Edge is a newly renovated property that has been professionally designed and is well stocked with almost everything you need in a vacation "home-base".

UPDATE! The pool is now heated, and any booking through May gets this for no additional cost! (weather permitting)

Home has 7 beds and sleeps 10. But trust us, you will not feel crowded! This is a spacious home that can accommodate your group beautifully.

The main living area of the home has an open concept.
-"Bicycle Bar Lounge" and chess game area.
-Living Room with seating for 8 and 75" smart TV.
-Dining Room with seating for 8-10.
-Chef's Kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. Seating for 4 at counter.

Small step-down to "Sunroom"/Gameroom w/ access to pool area.
-Conversation seating area with 4 comfy and modern sling chairs.
-Shuffleboard Table
-Desk and chair workspace
-Two twin size daybeds each with their own twin trundle. (4 twin beds)

Bedroom layout:
Primary with ensuite bathroom w/ shower and 2nd bedroom on one side of house.
3rd bedroom and separate 2nd bathroom w/ tub/shower on other side of house.

2nd bedroom - King bed "The Gator Room"
3rd bedroom - Queen bed and a small sofa futon, 43" smart TV "The Whale Room"

Great central location just a few minutes to Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium (Tigertown Stadium for the Detroit Tigers Spring Training and the Lakeland Flying Tigers Baseball Field), Florida Southern, Lake Hollingsworth, Bonnet Springs Park, RP Funding Center, Lakeland Regional Medical Health Center and Lake Myrtle Sports Park. From Lakeland you can easily get to Tampa, Florida beaches, Orlando, Disney, or Legoland.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house is very comfortable and very clean. The hosts were attentive although we didn’t need anything because all the details were already considered for us. The sunrises were spectacular and we very much enjoyed all the bird and wildlife viewing on the lake. The house is conveniently located to many area attractions including Tampa and its beaches. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

We stay for 3 nights at this house and everything was good the rooms are big and confortable the pool was nice and view was amazing the kitchen have most of the things you need to cook I definitely recommend it and management very helpful

The home is a treat. It is well stocked so you don’t have to run to the store after a long trip to Lakeland. The hosts are so helpful, if needed, and gave great local tips. I feel like we’d be friends if I lived in Fla! We saw the big gator(Alli G is what we call him), sat by the pool in comfy furniture, played chess and corn hole, contemplated pickleball and loved the frother so much I ordered the same coffee maker on the third day! I really can’t list all the amenities…it’s everything you need and more. The home was spotless and easy to keep straight. I loved walking through the front door and having an unobscured view of the water. This is truly one of the best home rentals. I would stay here anytime I’m back in the area. Book and enjoy with confidence.

Why they chose this property

The Edgewater Beach neighborhood is quiet and established. Lake Parker is a haven for fishermen, bird watchers, and nature explorers. Very near to downtown Lakeland and it's many parks, historic districts and wonderful local restaurants and shopping.

What makes this property unique

Water's Edge has stunning views of Lake Parker and the home sits just feet away. It's peaceful and so relaxing. This is the exhale you needed.

Please be aware, Water's Edge is on the water's edge. You will be close to wildlife, including alligators. Important, do not let small children or pets near the lake. Be cautious during twilight and night time when wildlife can be more active.

Also, certain times of the year, lake front properties can have large hatches of midge flies, referred to locally as blind mosquitos. They are not mosquitos, and they don't bite, but can be bothersome. Water's Edge is sprayed regularly. This helps but large hatches can interfere with outdoor activity. We have just installed a big, beautiful screen enclosure over the pool area.

Lake life is beautiful. Watching nature close up is rewarding. Lake life comes with its own unique challenges. We want you to come to Water's Edge prepared, so you can have the best stay possible.
