This six bedroom, Nags Head Ocean Front rental home features plenty of space for large families and gatherings. With a private walkway leading to your own beach-side deck and sitting area, you'll be able to keep all your beach gear just steps from you and the ocean.

And when you're not spending time at the beach, enjoy relaxing to ocean views on the mid-level deck's ocean-facing hot tub. This hot tub is also shaded by an awning, so no need to head inside during rainy weather or to get away from the hot sun.

As for location, 605, Atlantic Pier View, is only several homes away from the Nags Head pier, allowing for amazing views while also being just a quick walk to the pier's onsite restaurant. This home is also in the heart of Nags Head, central to restaurants, shopping, golf (as well as miniature golf), and so much more!

Much needed family time!!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here so much! The location was amazing! We loved waking up to ocean views! Everything was super clean and comfortable!! The staff from Cove Realty was very attentive! They called us to check in with us a couple times during our stay!! We will definitely stay again!

Our winter stay

We stayed here for a few days in the middle of February. The weather was crappy but the house was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. It is not brand new and could use some updating, but for what we paid on the water it was wonderful. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location and atmostphere

We really enjoyed our stay for a week at this great oceanfront property. The location is amazing being basically steps from the beach and being able to sit in the hot tub and listen to the waves. We have been to the Outer Banks several times and know that the weather can be harsh to the oceanfront properties so we knew what to expect. There are some things inside that could use a little TLC but none of them had any impact on what a great time we all had. Great communication with the management group and an overall very pleasant experience. I look forward to returning!

A few suggestions

The home was clean and close to the beach as listed. However, there was a hole in the leather couch, the mattresses were terrible, we couldn't light the fireplace and there were several roaches. I would think the house cleaners would have reported the damaged couch. Otherwise, it was a great stay.

We had a great vacation week at this property. Loved the size, set up and location for our large family. It was nice to know we could bring our dogs next time as well. This house could use some updates. Several light bulbs were burned out. There was mold in the downstairs bathroom. Some fixtures and furniture were glued together including the refrigerator door handle. Over all we rated this property a 4.5 upon checkout.

Great location - inaccurate house description

Our family loved the location of the house and its proximity to the beach, stores and restaurants. However, there are significant opportunities around the cleanliness and maintenance of this home. There are numerous broken chairs and a very wobbly built in deck bench. I would venture to say the photos on the website are years old and do not accurately represent the current state of this property. I hope you will give the appropriate attention to bring this home up to standard.

A beach house in every sense of the word!

If you've stayed on OBX before you're familiar with the walk up a busy beach access to search for a blanket spot away from others but near the water -- a difficult thing! But what if there was no beach access for anyone but you and a couple neighbors? THAT's what this property features! You come out early or late -- whenever you want! -- and plunk down wherever you like, because the general public has no access to your beach. They're all still out there -- grab the binoculars and you can see them -- wa-a-a-y down the beach by the next access point. But you get to walk out your back door and just spread out any ol' place! And that's the whole point of a beach house, right? Yes, your boardwalk is sandy and the deck is a bit weathered but hey -- you're on the b.e.a.c.h! -- and those are the little things that you would expect after building sand castles and shell hunting.

Outdated and not as describe

Cons: Very outdated, infested with ants, maintenance guy urinated on the house infront of my family that was waiting past check in time for them to finish up, blood stain on comforter, holes in the walls, missing tiles, overall dirty, hand prints on the walls, previously tenants hair on the walls of the bath room (not the shower), pool table broke, boards missing from deck and stairs, watch out for nails sticking up and make sure you have your tetanus shot, fridge smelled of terrible fish, water in the door window, mold or mildew on all window seals (black), broke bed that even when called did not get fixed, bought a level to prove it was leaning down hill, all pots and pans in terrible shape had to buy or bring own. I will say the pros is the location, parking, and spacious.

COVID-19 Vacay!

This property was literally what my family and I were looking for! There was so much room for the 4 groups that came and no one felt cramped for 8 adults! My 85 year old grandmother enjoyed having the beach pretty much in our back yard as it was very easy for her to get to and feel comfortable walking back and forth. The hot tub was a major hit! The house is a little dated and the wood for the decks need to be replaced or nailed down again. The people who stayed before us did not clean up outside and we were met with beer cans and A good stack of broken boogie boards. However, the staff at Cove Reality was exceptional! We had a member of our family having to work through vacation via online (thanks COVID!!!), and the internet wasn’t working and password was no where to be found. The cove team jumped on it immediately! Their system for checking in and out was great! The only down side we weren’t told about a hot tub cleaning appointment which scared us when we saw unknown people milling around the house while we were at the beach! All was well though! Great stay and probably one of our best family vacations to nags Head in the 30+ years my family has gone!

The Cove Realty team was great and highly recommend them to find you a property and ensure you have a pleasant stay. The owner of the home needs to improve the property in a couple of areas. First the deck and particularly the beach deck were in need of repair. Understanding they face the ocean and subject to abuse they need help and now. The beach deck was actually dangerous. They need to also upgrade their deck chairs. Cheap plastic and all had a crack in them so a little disconcerting to sit in. I would also recommend a new grill. There was a park style grill and an extremely cheap Kmart type of grill that was very unstable. One last whine...The pool cues were in bad shape as well. With all that said the house was on the beach and in a great location. Being that close to the Nags Head pier was a bonus as well as being close to other preferred restaurants.

Cute place close to the ocean!

The location of this house was awesome. There's a cute t-shirt/souvenir shop across the street and restaurants within walking distance in all directions. We really enjoyed the house and will most likely book it again in the future! I feel as though I should say something about Cove Realty as well. This is the 2nd time that we have rented a beach house in Nags Head through them and they are nothing short of amazing. They are attentive, kind, and they make sure that your stay is that best that it can be!

It was a nice spacious house. Clean, but was a bit worn in places.

Clean, and cared for. Fantastic Ocean view. Very spacious and quiet. I would absolutely stay here again. The house had some minor issues, lights in the hall stairway wouldn't work, as well as some cosmetic issues but we had a great time. Even in the wintertime, the beach isn't a bad place to be.

Great location, comfortable beds, and responsive realty company

We stayed over the Christmas holidays and the heating system kept the house comfortably warm. Since it's a heat pump, that should mean that it would also keep the house cool in the summer heat. All the appliances worked fine. The Hot Tub had an error signal and Cove Realty sent a maintenance man who resolved the issue and the Hot Tub worked wonderfully for the rest of our 3 day stay. Bed sheets and linen's are not provided so you'll need to either call Cove to pay additional cost or bring your own. The price on renting them was a little high so if we did it again, we'd bring our own. Also, this is Not and Air B&B place so don't expect there to be any food in the shelves (not even salt and pepper). And bring your own toilet paper.

Do NOT get what you pay for

Know what you're paying for before you go because this property and the management company need a lot of work before receiving 5 stars. You're paying for a killer location, being close to the pier and some ample space if you have a large group. What you don't get is any essentials to actually stay in the property (linens, garbage bags, hand soap, dishwasher detergent, bath mats for the bathroom floor when you step out of the shower... the list is LONG), cleanliness (ants and dirt everywhere), a functioning hot tub (lights were broken), a functioning pool table (the felt is totally collapsed on one side, as is a pocket missing), a reasonable and polite property manager, but worst of all, you don't get security. The "lock" for the door from the outside to the kitchen is a screw folks... a screw! Yikes! Anyone could easily break in. This property definitely hasn't been updated or seen some love in quite some time. The linens we did have to pay for ($55 for ONE queen set), were thin and papery, the beds were hard, the dresser drawers hardly opened the baby gates were completely rusted out. Anywho, just know what you're actually paying for before booking this property. You get an amazing location, great beach and you're close to the pier... but that's really it.

I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you had during your stay. While we were aware of your initial shock due to linens not being provided at the rental home, we had believed the rest of your stay to have gone well due to the positive comments left as your husband dropped of the keys. For the linens and toiletries not being provided, this is something that we do not provide so to keep the rental prices down for our guests. As mentioned in the contract and our website, we do provide the option to purchase linens, in your case, instead of requiring the purchase of linens for the entire six-bedroom home, we adjusted the order to two sets of towels, wash cloths, and hand towels, as well as pillow cases, queen fitted sheet, and queen standard sheet. I am very sorry for the confusion here and we're currently working on a pop-up feature on our website to further notify guests about optional linens, as we never wish for any guest to feel unprepared for their stay. As per the other issues you mention, we will be sending our maintenance technician out to immediate inspect an remedy all issues. However, the door being held by a screw is very alarming, so I gave a call to the current guests who are renting this week to inspect the door and give notice that we'll be sending maintenance to immediately repair the lock. However, the guests reported that the door from the kitchen to the deck is completely secure with a regular knob and deadbolt, they also confirmed that the pool table is fully functional without issue. If you have a chance, can you please contact us to verify if, perhaps, the door you're referring to is an owner's storage closet (which we'll still be remedying, to give a professional appearance), and exactly where on the billiards table that you found issue? We wish for every guest's stay to be 100% pleasurable, without issue, so any further information you can provide will definitely help us to discover and remedy your reported items.

Loved Nags Head

This was our first time visiting Nags Head and we loved it. The house had awesome views and was in a good location but needed some TLC. We arrived and the heat pump was not working, some rooms had no working light bulbs and the kitchen had ants. The hot tub stopped working on the second or third day. Also, this house is listed as a rental for 16 people but only 2 people could shower before the hot water ran out. We only had 4 adults so we could wait for the water to heat again but it would be a problem if you had a large crowd. The owners need to consider taking some time to do some routine maintenance and updates. Cove Realty was very prompt at getting these problems resolved but this isn't really what you want to deal with on your vacation. We will definitely return to Nags Head but will not use this rental again.

Thank you so much for your feedback on this rental. I greatly apologize for the run of bad luck that you and this house had during this week, however, I do appreciate you letting us know about these items so that we could immediately tend to the issues. I've also forwarded this feedback to our maintenance department to investigate the hot water tank, as we've had many people in this home on previous weeks with no issues, so I'm curious if an element on the tank has suddenly tripped or gone bad, which we'll need to remedy. Again, I'm sorry that you encountered these issues during your stay, but am very happy to hear that you were still able to enjoy all that Nags Head has to offer. We would like to make this trip up to you if you ever consider making it to the island for a future vacation. If you do head this way again, please give our office a call so we can talk further about this situation and provide you with a 100% carefree vacation for you and your family.

Great location... house need a few updates but they are working on it!!

House is at a great location close to restaurants , beach , pier and shopping! size of rooms and layout is great. Decks are great to sit on! And you can't get much closer to the beach. House is in need of some updates but you can tell they are working on it. Hot tub was not up to my standards ... outdoor shower needs some work but having a toilet out there is awesome with the kids. Cleaning crew needs to detail house a bit more furniture, floors and beds were all fine! .. some one needs to check the surround of the house, broken glass, bottles and old rusty pipe near BBQ! Not safe for the kids! Overall We had an awesome stay!
