10-Bed Bunk House w/ Hot Tub, Perfect for Group Retreats, Events, and Gatherings


Our three-story Bunk House features 10 bedrooms—each with a private bath and most with balconies—sleeping up to 20 guests with twin, queen, and king beds. It includes a cozy living room, fully equipped kitchen, TV room, and large banquet space, perfect for retreats, reunions and other large gatherings. Linens and kitchenware are provided. Enjoy mountain views from the decks, a hot tub under the stars, plus a fire pit and gas grill with firewood and propane supplied.

River's Bend Ranch is a family-owned guest ranch and venue, that sits on over 250 beautiful acres nestled between the Blue Ridge Mountains and the George Washington National Forest. With a half mile of shoreline on the Shenandoah River and 360-degree mountain views, RBR offers a perfect setting for family vacations, reunions, weddings, retreats, or just a quiet weekend getaway. We are conveniently located near the Luray Caverns, Skyline Drive, the quaint town of Luray, hiking spots, kayaking and canoe rentals, and much more. RBR offers access to activities for all tastes and ages!

On the ranch, guests can enjoy fishing, birding, and walking trails. Trail rides along our piece of the Shenandoah's South Fork are available to guests and the general public and can accommodate any riding ability. Families especially love visiting our friendly farm animals, from Longhorn steers and horses to sheep, chickens, cows, and the many barn cats that roam the farm.

Guests also have access to fresh farm products available for sale on site! We offer organic, free-range eggs and premium, homegrown Wagyu beef that is grass-fed, pasture-raised, and pesticide-free, perfect for grilling and enjoying a true farm-to-table meal!

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Gather used towels
Take out the rubbish
Thank you for staying with us! Check-out time is 10:00 a.m. Please leave the keys on the dining room table and place all used towels in the bathroom. Trash can be disposed of in the outside bin.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Keep food, drinks and soaps out of the hot tub or a additional cleaning fee of $150+ could be assessed. .Use of firearms is not permitted.
Personal vehicles may not be driven through pastures, including to the river - you may ask about being escorted in a Ranch vehicle if unable to hike.
Please do not enter our Show Barn without a ranch employee present. Please do not leave children unattended.

Great place for our large family!!!

We loved the Bunk House as a central location for several families to come together. Having so many bedrooms and bathrooms made it perfect! We loved the ranch area and the accommodations. Everyone was so nice and made us feel welcome! With so much room, we could all eat together and have family gathering times. The fire pit and hot tub were perfect too. We will definitely come back!

Perfectly beautiful and spacious!

We rented the bunk house for a marriage retreat. It was perfect as all rooms had bathrooms and there was plenty of sitting areas. What topped it off was the ranch. Not only was it breathtaking and beautiful, there was soo much to do. So many trails to walk and animals to see. The property manager and owners were also very kind and very responsive. They made us feel like home. Our young boys asked if we can come back monthly as they had sooo much fun outside. This is definitely a place to come back to.

We had a great time. The house was large. The host and others were very accommodating. We celebrated my daughter's Nursing graduation from JMU. We celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday. We celebrated Mother's Day. Every bed was slept in except one. The hot tub was enjoyed. We ate incredibly. Thank you so much. Mark Brown
