The place was exactly what we wanted. It was very clean, AC was super cold, came with everything listed it did, host was extremely friendly and professional. Check in was smooth and effortless. Mr Ortega was also an excellent host, he provided rods and tackle for no extra charge and set us up for success. We limited out on trout 2/3 nights we fished and he even helped out with cleaning the fish. The place is being updated frequently so some of the photos are not perfectly up to date. The place looks even better in person. Location is also incredibly convenient as there’s a bait shop right across the street and a second half a mile down the road. I will be staying there again. I recommend 12/10.

My son and brothers take a fishing trip together every year, and this year we decided to try Arroyo and stay at La Casita. The place was great, clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing trip. Ray was awesome throughout our stay, always attentive and quick to answer any questions. I did mention that updating the photos would help future guests, as the property is actually even better than what the current images show.Overall, we had a fantastic experience and will definitely be coming back. If you’re looking for a quaint, relaxing place to unwind, this is it. Thanks again, Ray!

A perfect getaway with family

The location is perfect, fishing channel right behind house we caught to drums right on pier!! The house was very clean. Definitely would recommend and plan to visit again with family!

We enjoyed our stay at la casita! Pier/backyard area was perfect. We caught a couple of skip jacks, trout, and a big blue crab! Will definitely stay again.

Lighted fishing pier with sink to clean your catches. A basket to hold your fish. A boat house with boat lift. Also had an additional boat slip. Catches have been sand trout, speckled trout, sheepshead, snook, tarpon, red fish, flounder, gar, gafftop catfish, lady fish, black drum & crabs.
