We stayed at the home while visiting for our granddaughter’s birthday. The home was beyond our expectations! It is definitely set up for family gatherings with plenty of space inside and out for visiting. The owners were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Great place, great stay!

About the host
Hosted by John & C. Howard
We have been on our property since 1981 and built our cabin in 1982. It has been our family home. We downsized in the same neighborhood but are keeping our much loved family home.
Why they chose this property
Bought our property in undeveloped area near Yorktown. We love it so much and raised our family here.
What makes this property unique
One of a kind quaint home nestled in the trees on private land. Our property stands out as a sought after place to be. You can vaguely hear taps played at dusk and reveille in the morning and occasionally, the faint sound of a train whistle at night.
