Outdoor Paradise:
Please note that we offer a comfortable experience in a secluded forested area. Built in the 1950’s, the lodge is rustic but comfy, and although it has many amenities, it may lack the refinement of a newly-renovated home or chalet. This a truly unique experience to enjoy the captivating beauty of the property with hundreds of acres of land with ponds, hiking trails, fruit trees and forest- step outside and experience nature like never before. The property boasts two picturesque ponds where you can relax by the water, enjoy a picnic, or try your hand at fishing. Paddle boats are available for a peaceful cruise, while the surrounding hiking trails offer opportunities to explore the stunning landscape and spot local wildlife.
Activities:
• Fishing: Cast your line and try your luck at catching native brook trout in the big pond or stocked rainbow trout in the smaller pond.
• Paddle Boating: Glide across the big pond on a relaxing boat ride.
• Hiking: Explore miles of scenic trails right outside your door.
• Grilling: Use the propane grill to cook up some hamburgers, hotdogs or delicious steaks after a swim and enjoy your meal on the outdoor table surrounded by beautiful views.
• Wildlife Watching: Discover Vermont's diverse wildlife in their natural habitat- whether it’s a deer on the trail, migratory ducks on the pond or a visit from a Great Blue Heron, there’s plenty to see.
• The Fire Pit: The firepit is a great place to come together and enjoy the evening with stories and smores.
• Stargazing: Far from city lights, see the stars and Milky Way in dazzling beauty.
Perfect for Nature Lovers & Outdoor Enthusiasts!
Whether you're seeking a relaxing retreat by the water or an adventure-filled weekend in the woods, this rustic lodge has it all. Enjoy evening campfires, cozy nights indoors, and opportunities to explore the natural beauty of Vermont.
