Welcome to The Pacific Coast Hideaway! This quiet property features a main house and casita on 2 acres of property within minutes of Mendocino Village. The home has been decorated in a California Casual style, that we feel helps you decompress. The property is bordered by a meadow on one side and a Redwood grove that backs up to a creek on the other.
The main house has 2 bedrooms with premium mattresses, an ensuite bathroom in the primary bedroom, and a hall bathroom with washer and dryer. There is a fully equipped kitchen including spices, oils and condiments for your use, and the dining table seats 6 comfortably. We have coffee and tea, as well as 3 ways to make your coffee: Drip coffee machine, pour-over, and French press. The living area has a 50-inch Smart TV, lots of games, books for you to borrow, and a desk. This house has a deck with a 6-seat outdoor dining table, a brand new gas grill, 4 Adirondack chairs with a gas fire pit, an outdoor sofa and pergola.
The smaller house (casita) features one large room with a luxury queen-sized mattress on a Murphy bed, a living area and kitchenette with a table for 2. The casita is a great option for grandparents or teens to have their own space and privacy. There is also a bathroom with a walk-in shower and natural stone tile. On the casita's deck, we have a 6-person hot tub that is always heated and treated in-between each guest stay, as well as an outdoor sofa and gas fire table.
We offer many family-friendly items for your comfort, such as a high chair, Pack-N-Play, a baby gate, games, books, coloring books, and Corn Hole. We provide beach towels and 6 beach chairs as well.
Our property offers parking for 3 vehicles, and a Level 2 EV charger with Tesla and J1772 plugs. There are Smart TV's in each bedroom, the guest house, and in the main living room, plus high speed Wi-Fi in both houses.

Why they chose this property
We love Little River because it is very quiet, yet only a 5 minute drive to the Village of Mendocino, and a 5 minute drive to the Little River Airport. Van Damme State Beach is a 1 minute drive, where you can enjoy the beach, hike in the Redwoods, or kayak to explore the sea caves. The Little River Inn Golf Course is a short walk, and Fort Bragg is only a 20 minute drive, where you can take a ride on the famous Skunk Train.
What makes this property unique
When you stay at the Pacific Coast Hideaway, you are getting two beautifully decorated cottages, nestled between a meadow and a grove of Redwoods. It is always quiet there, and you can hear the ocean or the trees, watch the family of deer meander through the yard, or soak in our hot tub. Our well appointed kitchen is ready for all of your cooking needs, but it's also nice to just sit on our comfy sofa and watch a movie with the fireplace on. Most importantly, you're assured a good night's sleep on our premium mattresses, because we all need our rest when we travel...
