The property was charming, well appointed and had great decor. We had a very cosy stay. ( we are used to a larger bed😉)
The owners were friendly, helped us with our baggage storage, offered great scenic directions to Lunenburg and made themselves available to all questions.
We would stay again, and would recommend it.
Everything was great , the only thing I would comment on is the bed is to low and needs to be move out from under the eve slope.
Stayed 1 night in Nov 2025

Amazing location.Lack of comfort in different ways: small double bed, very soft mattress.Kitchen is hot and the window doesn't open. The table isn't solid and moves down when small pressure is put on it. Annoying more than horrible but adds to the discomfort. The sun comes in and there's no air because of the window. No chest of drawers! Clothes have to be hung or put on a high shelf that already has a large blanket on it which we removed to make space. This resulted in the blanket being put on the floor of the closet. No basket or other space for it. The bath is narrow for confortable showering and there's no shelf or space to organize shampoo etc. We had to place our bottles on the edge of the bath with the wall as support. Not practical at all if you have small bottles. I understand it's an old building but a shelf won't hurt the style. The carpet smelled strongly of dust. When sitting on the floor( couches are stiff IKEA couches) I was really bothered by the intense dust smell. The air conditioning worked and offered some well deserved air. The only source of air comes from the small bedroom. The location is amazing and the coffee shops are all around. So all in all, for 450 a night, some improvements can easily be done. Also, it sometimes took a few hours before the host responded. We had a mouse, told the host, but he said nothing about it. Strange to me. I wouldn't go there again for the price and the discomfort. Our backs were stiff from the soft small double bed
