Thank you, Hollie — I'm glad you enjoyed the space and the view. We work really hard to provide a great property at a competitive rate for our guests to relax and enjoy. I sincerely apologize if you had lock and code trouble. That is not the stay I want my guests to have. We have since had these issues checked. 1. Your reservation started at 4pm, unless you request an early check-in. We do show a record of that request. The code will not work until after 4pm. You arrived before your scheduled check in time. Our son was there on the property and gave you a different code which you used and entered the unit early using that code. We observed on the external camera you using the code throughout your stay without any difficulty. 2. The doorlock has been verified since your post to be in working order. Even when locked, you can exit the unit through the door for safety precautions. It is, however, locked from outside the unit. 3. Any questions regarding the elevator, check-out, etc. should be obtained at the front desk. We also have a full list of check out procedures posted inside the unit by the thermostat control. While the host is in Galveston, she is not located on the property. Just like a hotel, questions should begin at the front desk. 4. I see where you exchanged communication with the host. She works with several properties and will respond as soon as she can. We see where she responded to your questions. We genuinely appreciate honest feedback. Greg and Janet
