About this property

Slow Mornings & Firelight Nights | Cozy Tree Retreat

Summary:

Tucked beneath a canopy of trees, this cozy retreat is a place to slow down and settle in. Mornings begin with coffee just the way you like it, and evenings end around the fire pit under the open sky.

Thoughtfully designed with comfort, simplicity, and connection in mind, this home is perfect for peaceful getaways—not large gatherings.

The Space:

There’s something about arriving here that feels different.

Maybe it’s the quiet. Maybe it’s the way the space immediately feels calm, clean, and easy—like you can finally exhale after a long day.

And in the morning, that feeling deepens. Step out onto the front porch, settle into one of the Adirondack chairs, and you’ll notice it right away—the soft sound of birds, the stillness of the air, and the absence of traffic noise. It’s the kind of quiet that’s hard to come by, and even harder to leave.

Mornings begin slowly here. Maybe it’s a fresh cup of coffee brewed exactly how you like it—whether that’s a quick Keurig or a full pot to share—carried out to the porch to enjoy in the quiet before the day begins. Creamer, sugar, and thoughtful touches are already stocked, so there’s nothing to think about except enjoying the moment.

The kitchen is ready for real life—not just quick stays. With granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a fully stocked setup—including spices, a crockpot, and all the essentials—you’ll have everything you need to cook comfortably without missing a thing.

The living space invites connection, whether it’s a movie playing softly in the background or a board game spread across the table. The home is thoughtfully prepared with comfort in mind, offering a clean and welcoming environment throughout your stay.

For families, the details are already handled. A pack and play, high chair, and booster seat are tucked away for easy use, making travel simpler and more comfortable. Laundry essentials—including detergent and wool dryer balls—are also provided for added convenience.

Step outside and the pace slows even more. The private, fenced backyard gives kids and pets space to roam freely, while the mature trees create a shaded, tucked-away setting that feels peaceful and removed from the noise of everyday life.

As evening sets in, the fire pit becomes the heart of the experience. Marshmallow sticks are ready, inviting you to unwind, share stories, and enjoy a slower pace under the open sky.

When it’s time to rest, each bedroom offers a clean, comfortable place to recharge—ready for whatever tomorrow brings.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full access to the home and outdoor spaces during their stay, allowing you to settle in and make yourself at home.

You’ll enjoy private access to the entire house, including the living areas, fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundry. The fenced backyard is also yours to enjoy—perfect for relaxing, spending time with loved ones, or letting kids and pets roam freely.

Check-in is simple and convenient with a self-check-in process, so you can arrive on your schedule and ease right into your stay.

The Neighborhood:

The home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood where the pace feels a little slower and the surroundings are peaceful. It’s the kind of place where mornings are calm, evenings are relaxed, and you can truly unwind without the noise of busy traffic or crowds.

You’ll be surrounded by a mix of well-kept homes and mature trees, giving the area a comfortable, residential feel that’s perfect for restful stays.

At the same time, you’re just minutes from I-20, making it easy to access everything you need. Grocery stores, restaurants, and everyday essentials are a short drive away, and you’re within reach of Atlanta, Six Flags, local parks, and nearby outdoor spots.

Whether you’re heading out to explore or staying in to relax, the location offers a great balance of convenience and quiet.

Getting Around:

A car is recommended to explore the area comfortably. With quick access to major roads, getting around is simple and stress-free.

Other Things to Note:

This home is best suited for smaller groups and those looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

The backyard is a natural, shaded space beneath mature trees, creating a more organic outdoor setting rather than a grass-covered lawn.

As with most outdoor environments in Georgia, insects may be present at times, especially in warmer months.

To help maintain the quality and comfort of the home for all guests, the following may result in additional charges if applicable:

• Excessive cleaning beyond a standard turnover

• Unapproved late checkout or early check-in

• Smoking inside the home

• Damage to the property, furnishings, or missing items

• Pet-related damage or undisclosed pets

• Excessive markings or damage to walls

• Plumbing issues caused by improper use (including food in drains or non-flushable items in toilets due to septic system)

• Items left behind after checkout that require retrieval, storage, or return (an administrative/handling fee may apply)

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to protect against unexpected changes or interruptions.

We aim to provide a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests and appreciate your care and respect for the home.

Interaction with Guests:

You’ll have a seamless, self-check-in experience, with support available whenever you need it. I’m always here to help while giving you the space to fully enjoy your stay.

About the host

I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but moved to the Atlanta area over 15 years ago. During my life, I have stayed at so many short term rental properties, and when I reflect on my travels, my stays at them are part of my memory. I really love that, and love that I get to be a small part of others memories for many years to come.

Why they chose this property

It's located on a cul-de-sac and the neighbors are very friendly. The neighborhood has a lot of families and is safe. Plus, the home is beautiful and has a huge back yard which makes it great for families who need space, and those who desire peace and privacy.

What makes this property unique

It has a lot of family friendly amenities such as outlet plugs, a high chair, pack and play, and a stroller. I designed and decorated the house myself with a lot of love and attention to detail. There is a fire pit in the back yard, and Edison bulb lights light up the yard so beautifully!
