Roxy — Cozy Catskill Cottage

Roxy – the only pink house in the Catskill village of Roxbury – is a recently renovated 4 bedroom, 1 bathroom cape-style cottage perfect for friends and family getaways.

Cozy up inside with a good book, roast some smores looking out to wooded hills behind, or take a short walk to one of Roxbury's restaurants, cafes or shops. Near to skiing, hiking, art galleries, farmer’s markets, and more – season round activities abound!

The space
Unwind at Roxy. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen, enjoy shared dinners around the dining table, or relax in the spacious living area filled with books, games and a projector. Whatever your plans, Roxy is equipped for your stay:

+ Newly refinished spaces with plenty of windows.
+ Comfortably fits up to 8 guests: 2 bedrooms on the First Floor (1 Queen bed, 2 Twin beds) and 2 bedrooms on the Second Floor (2 Queen beds).
+ Strong Wi-Fi with two dedicated "work from home" spaces and a large dining table that serves as a third co-working space.
+ Fully equipped new kitchen, coffee station, and dining table for 6-8 people.
+ Private backyard with picnic seating and fire pit.
+ Steps from downtown Roxbury with restaurants, a coffee shop, and a grocery store.
+ Nearby public electric vehicle charging station.

Looking for something to do outside the house?

+ Winter:
Hit the slopes to ski and snowboard at nearby Plattekill Ski Mountain or Hunter Mountain (to name a few), located just a short drive away.
+ Spring:
Explore the charming town of Roxbury and its neighboring areas filled with local artisan and vintage shops, eateries, and cultural attractions. Or adventure out by kayaking, water skiing, and fishing at nearby lakes!
+ Summer:
Enjoy countless hiking trails, swimming spots, golfing courses, and outdoor festivals. Don’t forget to check out local organic farmers markets and for fresh produce grown at family farms too!
+ Autumn:
Bask in the famously stunning Catskill scenery of oranges, reds, and yellows—ideal for leisurely strolls, wildlife spotting or apple picking.

Other things to note
1/ House-trained pets are permitted with the host's approval. Please reach out to ask!

2/ Most of the time you can request an early check-in or late checkout if we have no other guests that day - let us know if you'd like to and we can make the arrangements.

3/ Roxy's driveway can hold 4 cars max. If you have additional vehicles, you can park them in the town lot, just a short walk away.

4/ We typically store away the outdoor furniture during the winter. There are log stumps for sitting around the fire pit year-round.

5/ We occasionally have foxes and other wildlife around. You may hear some fox howling at night or birds chirping in the morning.
