There are mountains close by with many hiking options with waterfalls and beautiful vistas, white water rafting, etc. Great during all 4 seasons!

There are many biking options: road biking, rails-to-trails and mountain biking areas close by.

There are great biking options on Rails-to-trails in Greenville (Swamp Rabbit Trail), Pickins and Easley (Doodle Trail).

There are nice golf courses close by. Cleamon (The Walker Course) and Fuhrman University Golf Club, which are both open to the public. Pickens Golf Club, The Rock Golf Club and Resort (open to the public), Rolling Green Golf Course in Easley, Southern Oaks Golf Course also in Easley, Etc.
