Nicely decorated with a beachy theme will make you feel right at home while you are here visiting our sugar white beaches. Complimentary access to Sandpiper Cove’s five sparkling swimming pools and three hot tubs located conveniently throughout the property along with charcoal grills, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts and a pitch and putt 9-hole golf course. Two of our pools are heated for your comfort during the winter months. On-premises food, Rick’s Sand Trap Bar & Grill (beachside Tiki-Bar open March-October) and Louisiana Lagniappe (upscale seafood waterfront dining with a Creole flair, with casual attire permitted.)

Honest pros and cons.

The pros: Updated condo, clean, comfortable Murphy bed, cute decor, little outdoor space. Fantastic location on the property grounds. Very short (maybe 2 min) walk to the beautiful beach. Very convenient water taxi but a tad pricey, Uber was cheaper. The cons/annoying things: Advertised as ‘free beach service’. The second day on the beach, we were told the owner didn’t pay the bill so it wasn’t covered. I went back and forth messaging VRBO and the property management at sandpiper cove. They continued to tell me it wasn’t covered. By the last day, they called me to say it was taken care of and we can use the services (without an additional charge, we didn’t end up paying anything extra). Awful sewage smell throughout the property. Not many restaurants /activities you can walk to- use water taxi, Uber, or rent a car.

Will definitely book again

Only thing I’d ask of this property is to have a sponge for cleaning dishes, and the shower knob be fixed. Very minor. Overall a wonderful stay. Beach service being included is a huge bonus!!
