Fantastic location made better by the off street parking available with this unit. Property had everything that I needed for a comfortable say and was exactly as described online. I look forward to using this property as a home base in the future when visiting family.

Spacious and characterful two bedroom near cafes and restaurants on a beautiful tree-lined street. Easy off-street parking. Only minor quibble: I couldn't open the windows, but that could have been (a) user error; or (b) intentional for security reasons. Very responsive and easy communication with owner.

This is an excellent place to be if you're visiting the heart of the Shadyside Neighborhood, as well as East Liberty and Squirrel Hill. It's tucked away on a quiet street, with off-street parking ad is a five to ten minute walk from Walnut Street. East Liberty and Squirrel Hill are five to ten minutes drives. Location aside, the apartment is roomy, clean and comfortable. The kitchen looked well-equipped, although I didn't do any cooking. The host provded detailed checking-in instructions on the day of my visit, and they were accurate and easy to follow. All in all, I was lucky to find this place.

Property was clean and smartly appointed. Appliances were very new. We were easily able to cook and eat in during our stay. There is an ample private parking lot. I had to work during some stretches of my stay and there wasn't a single hiccup with the Wi-Fi even handling large files. Shadyside is beautiful and the location is ideal with very short drives to Pitt and CMU and easy walks to either of the two main shopping/eating corridors. Everything you need is in the apartment and everything you need outside is within easy reach. Place is QUIET. Huge plus because my daughter and I had to be early to bed and early to rise. Even during the day when I was working from the unit, there was hardly any noise. Owner is super responsive, too. Would gladly stay here again.

Where to begin. I guess it started after my credit card was charged for the rental fee and I was then required to provide a form of government ID that matched my credit card before I would be allowed access. Over many years and multiple VRBO rentals in the state's I've never come across this requirement. Internationally yes, but never in the state's. Never-the-less, after two attempts at emailing, a copy of my driver's license was accepted. On arrival I was met with a whole set of additional rules and regulations not mentioned in the original profile. No shoes allowed in the house, no moving any furniture in the house, no noise after 10:00 pm in the house subject to eviction, park only in a specific parking spot after providing your license plate # or your car will be towed, check out one second past 11:00 and the security locks will automatically lock you out. Very draconian. Then there were the amenities for a 2 bedroom rental. No ice maker or even ice trays in the fridge, exactly 2 glasses, 3 coffee cups and a smattering of plates and utensils including no bottle or wine opener, no dresser or shelves in either bedroom to unpack. The front of the house was wildly overgrown (not shared on the profile pictures) with a mattress and stuff thrown on the curb. The only redeeming factors were the location, very convenient for walking and short drives to multiple venues/museums/restaurants etc. the great stained glass windows inside and the weather. Overall disappointing.

I was a little nervous about this listing at first - the name of the company being different than the host but VRBO assured me they have worked with this group before. And all communication went through VRBO. I was also nervous about not getting check in info until noon the day of our stay but I can understand why. Most places I get it 24 hours ahead. BUT Everything went great! The unit was very simple but very comfortable. Nice kitchen, plenty of space, big comfy beds, great neighborhood and location. Would definitely stay here again!! Very communicative host.

Excellent communication from the host. Very detailed check in instructions. Beautiful building. A beautiful mix of historical and contemporary. Very clean. Spacious and beautiful. It was very close to many restaurants and shopping opportunities. I loved that the parking was private, well lit, and off street. Quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this property. We travel as a family and it was nice to have a beautiful space to spread out. My two children (6 and 12) really enjoyed the property as well.
