This ideal location, with Eel River access, is one exit from the Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt Redwoods State Park and a short, scenic drive to the majestic Lost Coast. A welcoming living room with a wood burning stove, full kitchen and a comfy futon in the den for extra sleeping space makes this a perfect house for your family vacation. The four cozy bedrooms include very comfortable and warm beds, perfect after a day of resplendent exploration, making you feel right at home. The property also features 2 bathrooms with bathtubs and hair dryer. Stay connected with Starlink WiFi and take advantage of amenities like an office desk, a washing machine and dryer, and much more. Enjoy the deck on the large pond to watch local wildlife. The kitchen is fully equipped for easy preparation of almost any meal. Your stay here will be relaxing, peaceful and surrounded by the magnificence of nature.

Start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Do not strip the beds. Leave beds unmade. Any beds not slept in should be left made. Leave all used towels on the bathroom floor or in the laundry chute.
Please lock all doors and securely close all windows except upstairs hall window. Exit through mud room and lock only the deadbolt, not the handle, using the keypad. Gate should be closed and locked.
It’s hoped you will haul your own garbage out, but if not please collect all trash in the main trash can and place bag into the trailer by the carport. There are extra trash bags in the trash can.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Beautiful and quiet rural setting. Spacious and nicely appointed house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Had a party for 15 people one of the nights and everyone had a great time.

Cozy welcoming home

We had 10 people in our party, we enjoyed it very much. Very clean, spacious, the attention to detail and all the extra amenities make it very welcoming. Beautiful views of the mountains, very serene. Comfortable beds, large TV and comfy sofa in the den which is a separate living room to send the teens, family games, a cozy wood fire stove, large kitchen area to make a family dinner, all the amenities made it so nice! Perfect location between Avenue of the Giants and Eureka, our 2 destinations for our trip. Our family enjoyed this place so much, we would definitely come back.

This home and property were perfect for our large family with plenty of rooms, comfort, and space to rome. My wife and I were able to house our four grown children and grandchildren comfortably. Plenty of space for activities and a short hike to the Eel River. The area is beautiful, quiet, and within reach to the towns of Fortuna and Eureka. Ken was a great host and was able to communicate promptly and thoroughly. Please read thoroughly the house rules as it will go well with you. We couldn’t recommend this place more highly!
