A FEW THINGS TO CALLOUT ABOUT OUR HOME

• There are steps to enter the home on the front and back doors.

• We love the charm of our historic home but with an older home there are things you should be aware of – original doors and door hardware can sometimes stick a little. She’s old, so she creaks! Please keep in mind this is a historic home and there may be quirks that you’re not used to in a hotel stay. We do our best to make every guest as comfortable as possible!

• Air conditioning is provided individually for each bedroom as well as the kitchen and living room downstairs. Heat is provided through the steam radiators (yes, they clang when they turn on) and the heat level is controlled via a single thermostat in the main hallway just outside the kitchen. We recommend keeping the temperature between 65-68 to avoid overheating your bedrooms upstairs. There is additional window heat available in the living room downstairs.

• We are aware the Victorian home next door is not up to par with the rest of the neighborhood but the owner is not yet ready to start renovations. We promise it’s not haunted!

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
Check-in will be at 3 p.m. and check-out will be at 10 a.m. and our property care technicians will arrive shortly after the check-out time to prepare the home for the next guests. If you need to check-in after 10 p.m. we ask that you let us know ahead of time.

Self check-in is provided via the coded smart lock on the front door. The code you will receive for your reservation is unique to your reservation and will only work between the check-in and check-out times.

Sometimes technology fails, however if this happens we also have a backup lockbox on the property with a physical key so you can get inside.

EARLY CHECK-IN AND LATE CHECK-OUT
We understand that sometimes you need to start your stay a little sooner or need more time before a flight home. We will make our best effort to accommodate you, however we often have guests leaving the morning of your check-in or new guests coming a few hours after your check-out.

OTHER RULES AND POLICIES

No smoking of any kind inside the property. If you smoke outside we ask that you pickup any cigarette butts before you check-out. Guests who smoke will be charged up to $2,000 penalty fee for deep cleaning and fabric deodorizing the home.

Parties, events, or weddings are not allowed.

To respect our neighbors, we observe quiet time between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m. each day.

We provide high quality linens. Guests will be charged a depreciated replacement value of these linens if they damage or stain them.
