About this property
MY T Pine Acres Lake View
Welcome to The Lake View at MY T Pine Acres – a timeless Northwoods retreat steeped in rustic charm and natural beauty. Nestled in the heart of northern Wisconsin’s forested landscape, this lovingly restored heritage lake home sits gently on a wooded hillside, offering a serene overlook of the crystal-clear, 40-acre Silver Lake – a no-wake haven where peace reigns and nature thrives.
Located just 9 miles south of the nostalgic town of Minocqua and mere minutes from the scenic Bear Skin Trail in Hazelhurst, The Lake View is on a quiet, rural town road that serves as an approved route for both snowmobiles and ATVs. Surrounded by towering pines and dappled forest light, the home blends rustic simplicity with thoughtful updates. Step inside to discover two inviting bedrooms: the master, with its generous king bed, vintage-style dresser, and soft morning light filtering through two windows; and a second bedroom offering a restful queen bed, walk-in closet, and charming touches of cottage comfort. A quaint, single bath with a shower and vanity offers everything you need, including lots of hooks, storage drawers and hand soap. The refreshed kitchen captures a farmhouse feel with a deep sink, open shelving, a kitchen island, and all the essentials for preparing a hearty meal or lakeside snack. Gather around the kitchen island or the square farmhouse table in the adjoining dining area, complete with a picture window that frames the peaceful woodlands behind the house. A small writing nook, with a simple desk and cabinet filled with board games and books, adds a nostalgic touch. The adjacent sunroom invites quiet reflection, furnished with a full-size bed and a cushioned reading chair beside windows that frame the lake and trees. Close the rustic sliding barn door for a moment of privacy and let time slow down. The living room is welcoming, with a mix of classic comfort – a three-cushion sofa, rocker recliner, chaise lounge, and glider rocker. Gaze out through the sliding glass patio doors or one of two large windows, offering tranquil lake views. Step out onto the covered deck to enjoy your morning coffee, an evening drink, or the colors of a Northwoods sunset, rain or shine. Outdoors, the charm continues: a classic picnic table, charcoal grill, and lakeside fire pit with complimentary firewood await your stories and s’mores. The shoreline remains natural and untouched, perfect for wading into the clean, swimmable waters. A private pier, rowboat, paddle boat, paddle board and kayak are included for fishing adventures – with plenty of bass, panfish, perch, and northern pike to be found in these quiet waters. There is a swim raft to use. With no public lake access and a no-wake policy, Silver Lake is a sanctuary of calm, dotted with private family homes and cabins along its gentle shores. There will be plenty of opportunities to see wildlife at MY T Pine Acres. Deer are frequently passing through our property, bald eagles are often seen flying overhead and loons and ducks are often seen on the water. You may even see turkeys! Though vintage in spirit, The Lake View is simple, clean, and comfortably appointed – an ideal place for families to make lasting memories. While it is one of three rentals on our property (along with the owner’s residence), it has its own private entrance and lakeside area, offering seclusion and space to breathe. We are licensed with a Short Term Tourist Rooming House permit through Oneida County and hold a Seller’s Permit with the State of Wisconsin. Inquire about pets – and don’t forget to follow us on Facebook for updates and more glimpses of lake life at MY T Pine Acres.
