Amazing house in great location!
Tana’s house was perfect for our group of 8 adults (4 couples.) The basement apartment is a great perk. As it allowed us to invite a 4th couple to join us. The house is beautiful, with a lot of amenities. We had everything we needed to cook meals. The beds were very comfortable. We were gone most of the day hiking. So we didn’t have time to enjoy the wonderful outdoor space. We would definitely stay at Tana’s house again.

Awesome view
We enjoyed our stay at Graywood. We were greeted with a yummy fruit pie made by a local baker to share at our family reunion. Such a thoughtful touch. The view and setting are exceptional. The child gates were a plus as we had a 2 year old in our party. The dishwasher was not functional most of our stay, but the owner Tana R. Was able to get it fixed the last day of our stay, which made clean up easier. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Awesome place to stay in East Glacier!
The house was amazing and located close to the park's east side entrances. We stayed here with family and had plenty of room for two kids and four adults to eat sleep and play. The large decks were great for grilling and relaxing and the huge living room was great for card games and family fun. We can't recommend this place enough. It was beautiful, clean, and the owner, Tana was super responsive and a great host!

Amazing Glacier vacation spot
Place was awesome. Tons of space and perfect location. Great views just outside of the park while still having the convenience of being in East Glacier. We will definitely be booking on our next trip out.

About the host

Hello Guests! My name is Tana R. Steiner, owner of GreyWood. I am a member of a 4th generation native Montana family who has roots in Glacier Park for over 70 years. I am excited to share this gorgeous house with you. The pictures don't begin to describe the spacious, yet cozy, atmosphere of this home. While you are staying with us, we will be out at the family ranch just 6 miles away...feel free to visit us there also.

Why they chose this property

My artistic dreams have always centered around design and architecture. This house definitely is the realization of both. I'm also attracted to the convenience of living on the property, located on the edge of town,on the 9th green, in a wonderful neighborhood, with views of Glacier and the creek out from off the decks in the evenings.

What makes this property unique

This is a true log home, built magnificently by Alpine Log Homes, premier builders in Montana. Interestingly enough, the interior design was mine, the thought being, a contemporary log home 'of the West'. Stones from the creek, firewood from the ranch and many original art works will be here for your stay..please feel at home instantly ...just like I do...
