About this property
95 WalkScore on Division Quaint One BR Apt
Summary:
A walker's paradise with a WalkScore® of 98/100. If you're a big fan of great food, craft beer, pour-over coffee and Portlandia, this is your place. Our private apartment sits in a historic building at the heart of the eclectic SE Division District - home to many of Portland's top-rated restaurants and bars, vintage shops, and some of the best people-watching around.
The Space:
Recently remodeled and tastefully furnished in true Portland fashion. The living room is cozy and relaxed, with new windows streaming plenty of natural light and a comfy couch to kick back on. Those rainy days are perfect for cuddling up and watching movies on the 50" LED flat-screen TV. While we don't have cable, you'll have access to Netflix and blazing fast WiFi for streaming.
If you feel like eating in, there's a fully equipped kitchen with new appliances - not to mention a grocery store few blocks away.
After spending the day walking, shopping, and eating, you'll love coming home to the super comfy queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen size murphy bed in the family room. You can comfortably sleep 4 people in this home!
The Neighborhood:
Sometimes compared to San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury neighborhood, Portland’s SE Division District is known for its vintage shops, restored theaters, street performers, and overall creative characters, making it one of the city’s top destinations for both locals and visitors. Coincidentally, a standout food scene has developed in the neighborhood, making a day spent on the Southeast street a breeze.
Getting Around:
Most daily needs such as groceries, restaurants, shopping as well as parks and other outdoor areas are within walking distance. Portland also has wonderful public transportation systems that connect most of the city. Uber and Lyft are also available in the area. More information will be provided in the unit about how to get around our beautiful city
Other Things to Note:
There is no parking onsite. There is free street parking with a 2 hour limit from 8am - 7pm in front of the house. And then just 3-4 blocks away there is a neighborhood with no time limit parking. I'll send a map of where the unlimited free parking is. It's a short walk away and the house is near the train railways so if you are sensitive with sounds, kindly pack a earbuds.
Interaction with Guests:
Our guests will have privacy and private access to the home, including the laundry facilities in the unit.
