When you and your crew are ready to get away from mainland living, come join us here at The Roost for the Rest and Relaxation you all deserve! This adorable unit of an Island Interior duplex is within walking distance to Beach Access, a local park, 2 bars, an arcade, and a convenience store! Spread your wings and enjoy all the amenities this quaint cottage has to offer!

When you first arrive, you will find parking in the shared driveway area. This adorable studio apartment, which is one-half of a duplex property, offers guests a private backyard area, an enclosed Beach Shower, and a private patio. This makes “The Roost” the perfect mother-in-law suite or couples retreat.

Inside you are greeted with festive surf decor. The living room offers a cozy couch that converts to a sleeper sofa. Across the room you will find a fantastic full Kitchen, dining area and the Flat Screen Cable TV. This property also offers guests wireless internet service. A stunning divider separates the Queen bedroom area from the main living space. For those of you who are creative and need a safe space to write, or those who need a place to set up your Laptop to stay connected while you are in town, there is a corner desk with a lamp. The Large full bathroom has tons of space with a shower/tub combo and a full size washer and dryer.

The covered front porch on the front side of the property invites guests to cozy up and enjoy cocktails while listening to the music coming from the Trailer Bar and Tortuga's Nest.

Summer Camp Cot

The property itself was clean, conveniently located and a quaint little hideaway. As senior citizens the platform bed was uncomfortable for us to get in and out of. That discomfort was exacerbated by the thin foam mattress on plywood and the bed being against a wall making getting in and out the bed uncomfortable. This issue may have been avoided by more detailed info. about the bedding. In fairness this review is not a complaint per se but rather a critique. The cottage absolutely serves younger people and young families quite well. The staff was easily accessible, polite and professional in resolving a problem we had with the cable TV. We greatly appreciated how proactive your staff waa in resolving the issue vs. saying, " We called Spectrum it's out of our hands ". The staff taking a personal interest in resolving our TV problem made a big difference in how we viewed our time in the cottage as well as our time as Surf City❣️👍

Unbelievably Fantastic Customer Service & Location

This little studio is super cute and perfect for two. Just across the street from the beach and right behind the Trailer Bar (with live music !). I can't say enough about how friendly and helpful the management team was as we had to extend our stay several times. What at wonderful place for a beach vacation!!
