The home was perfectly equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. Super cute and historic feel but with modern conveniences. Communication re. check-in was a bit rocky as I did not receive check-in instructions in advance but I'm not sure why that was - details were not available on vrbo site and I had not seen an email that was apparently sent in advance. Did not impact our stay however and everything was lovely!
Was charming, quiet, clean and peaceful with a wonderful living space. Great kitchen and great rooms. My daughter loved feeding the animals. We would absolutely go back there again! Host was great too.
Check-in information was very thorough. The property was beautifully maintained and very comfortable. Quiet and relaxing, close enough to town.

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Nice but could be better.
When we arrived, the property manager did not have our reservation. When we called the property manager number, no one answered the phone and I had to leave a voicemail message. Fortunately, the owner lives on the property and we were able to knock on his door and ask for assistance. It was a bit stressful but he made it right. He canceled other pending guests and offered to pay for our dinner while the property was made ready. We returned two hours later to find everything all set to go. Enjoyed the property. Beautiful quaint setting. Was fun to observe the farm animals. A few things would’ve made the property a little bit easier to live in. The kitchen is not terribly well-equipped. No serving dishes. The cupboards were filled with knickknacks, antiques and trinkets that were not useful, and there were only enough plates for six people. Refrigerator was dirty. We cleaned out a rotten egg and threw out a variety of other spoiled products from the prior renters. There are no trash cans in any of the bathrooms or bedrooms. They were no games, cards etc. to keep us entertained in the evening. One of the bedrooms have no dressers or a bedside table.
The stairs are typical for an old farmhouse, very steep. This should be articulated in the property description so that people with bad knees or those having difficulty with stairs would know about this in advance. All in all, these things were just mildly annoying. We made do and had a very lovely time.
The pictures didn't do it justice. The property was lovely. Our rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Bathrooms were fully appointed. And the animals were fun to visit with! We will be back.
We had such a great time at the farm! It was close to Wolfboro but also just far enough away from the crowds that we could relax and spend time with the animals. Our farm house was super clean and spacious!
The Brown's Farm was a wonderful accommodation for our family with our 2-year-old granddaughter. She loved the swings and sandboxes outside, plus visiting all the animals on the property. It was wonderful, and so much more fun than trying to entertain her inside. The house was very clean and had everything needed. It is a peaceful country location, but with convenient access to shopping and Wolfeboro. We would gladly return again.

Our stay at the beautiful farm was fantastic
Our stay-mine and my elderly mothers was fantastic. The accommodations were lovely and clean. The grounds are beautiful and the farm animals and experience are great. There are sandboxes and a fire pit for guests to enjoy. The owners and their children are very friendly and outgoing but also respect your privacy. We got to see the Alpacas and the Sheep sheared and that was an experience to see. The location is nice and quite but is a short ride to whatever you need. It’s close to the supermarket, coffee the lakes and beaches and other attractions. I can’t wait to get back for another farmstay and I highly recommend it.

Homey, Picturesque, Comfortable!
A convenient and pleasurable stay! We were able to hike, explore the property, see the animals and enjoy the view all before we ventured out! A fun way to spend the weekend and a relaxed stay without the claustrophobic atmosphere of a typical hotel room. Owner was efficient and kind.

Beautiful view with tons of activities in the area
Loved waking up to the view. Looking at the mountains with my cup of coffee in the morning. Lots of things to do nearby for the whole family.
