About the host
Hosted by Shali Lee Confort

I was born in France, and to be even luckier I was born in South of France. Growing up in the south France is such a privilege to have, visiting neighboring charming villages, swimming in rivers, summer job in vineyards, going to beaches in Riviera, practice tennis in 15centry castle, eating best natural ingredient were all part of my childhood life, little did I know these everyday normal childhood activities becoming such a luxury in the world’s perspective.
I became to appreciate what shaped me today as soon as I moved to Florida to become a Tennis Coach. Later I moved to west coast of U.S., met my fashion-designer Taiwanese wife, reside our family life in LA with one child, but we both love traveling & exploring new destinations and cultures, and hoping to discover new adventures with old and new friends.

Why they chose this property
I was going to Avignon often as a child, and always the fondest memories about this gorgeous & very well-preserved medieval village. My wife and I got married in South of France, we took our guests to dine in Avignon & we all fell in love with it, and the 2nd. time was even better for me. Also the rest of my family lives in Bangols Sur Ceze, a town 30mins drive west of Avignon, it’s a perfect logical location for us to purchase a second home here in Avignon.
What makes this property unique
Avignon is the gate to Aix-en-Provence, and there is no place like Aix-en-Provence. The location is close to many would-class attractions & destinations, it’s a very well-preserved medieval village with historical walls, but inside this ancient wall is full of art, cultures, and yet with modern banking/shopping/daily-life support systems. The pope palace is keeping the visitors coming, the July festival d’Avignon is keeping this town artistic, the students from University of Avignon is keeping it young & renovative, the surrounding vineyards are producing high quality wine to keep everyone happy, there are endless reasons to visit Avignon, and I hope to see you there!
