About this property
Farmstead Haven - River Views, Sauna
Nestled into a unique 82 acre family homestead, GreenHouse offers a peaceful setting for visiting the majestic Columbia River Gorge.
Gaze at the river from bed, sweat in the sauna, bask on the deck with your morning coffee, grill family-style, say hello to nearby farm animals..welcome!
Fresh, elegant, and simple, GreenHouse offers abundant natural light, real wood floors, a custom reading nook, and comfortable common areas indoors and out. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped. Two of three bedrooms open onto a generous deck overlooking the river; one has a dedicated work space. There's a mudroom with full laundry facilities, a covered patio, and easy access to the backyard and beyond.
Just 50 minutes from Portland Airport, and one walkable mile outside Stevenson, Washington, GreenHouse’s unique location provides nature immersion on the farm, proximity to fun small town adventures, and abundant opportunities for world-class outdoor play and cultural amenities.
If this is your base for local adventures, have fun! Hikes through forest and waterfall territory, swimming, paddling, wind sports, snow play, hot springs, wildflowers, restaurants, award-winning breweries and wineries, bookstores, bike trails, museums, playgrounds - the gorge is rich through every season.
If you want to stay put and relax, GreenHouse also offers a cozy home scene! In addition to being a great place to cook, read, play games, and hang, the larger homestead has fruit trees, forests, meadows, and rustic trails. On the farm we bake, grow garlic and flowers, and sometimes offer bodywork, childcare, or very tiny weddings.
Our family has lovingly stewarded this land for three generations, and we're happy to share it with you.

Why they chose this property
I was lucky enough to grow up here! My family has stewarded this homestead for three generations (that means we've pulled a lot of blackberries!!:)). Now I am raising my own daughter here. We value the opportunity to live closely with nature and animals.
What makes this property unique
We are snuggled into an idyllic canyon valley overlooking the Columbia River, with a cast of beloved animals: horses, sheep, cats, chickens, farm dogs.... Our homestead is private and peaceful, but we are also close enough to stroll into town and grab fish tacos from our favorite taco cart. We love having the best of both worlds, with the entire Columbia River Gorge at our fingertips!
