Buttonwood Bay C-8 - Beautifully decorated two bedroom and one and a half bath townhome located at Buttonwood Bay. This unit will make you feel right at home as soon as you walk through the front door. The kitchen has been updated and has everything you need for your vacation. The living room has a big screen tv. off the living room there is a screened porch to overlook the lagoon style dockage. This unit is a great home away from home!
If booking more than a year in advance current prices may not reflect the annual cost of living increase.
Many of our guests' re-book the same property on an annual basis. No reservation is confirmed until you speak with us.
Please note: before proceeding with your booking, kindly review the following information. This property is managed by a local Islamorada rental company, Freewheeler Vacations. Payments for your vacation rental will be made thru Freewheeler Vacations. You will also see a charge from VRBO which covers their booking service fee which is already included in the total cost. We prefer payments via personal check or eCheck. However, if you opt to pay by credit card, a 3% convenience fee will be applied to your rental. You will receive the Freewheeler Vacations Vacation Rental Agreement via email, which must be signed before your arrival. All future correspondence will be made through Freewheeler Vacations.

Mixed Review

The property needs a complete deep clean (walls, doors, trim and baseboards need significant cleaning). Owners needs to remove family pictures from walls, update linens and towels. Coordinate and update some decor. Loved the security and most of the available on-site amenities. Mostly quiet and peaceful location. Close to restaurants, attractions and grocery shopping.

Please reach out. We would be more than happy to take care of that for you! As for the family photos, most vacation rentals leave them hanging as to make the rental property feel "homey" instead of hotel boring. :-) Hope to have you back again really soon!!!

Nice but there were issues..

The unit next door was being renovated the entire time I was there so I constantly heard power tools all day long. I was not informed about this before I agree to rent. During the stay there was a plumbing issue and we had to relocate at 1am to a hotel for the night. I feel that the owner and the rental company were unsympathetic to any of the issues and I was only offered a pittance of a credit towards the thousands of dollars that I paid.

Hello Kathy, We appreciate reviews good or bad, it helps us to do our job better. However, it is unfortunate this is the review you chose to leave. As we previously discussed with you regarding the neighboring renovations, we were unaware of the renovations next door as we just had guests there the previous month with no work going on next door. Nonetheless, we did give you a partial refund for the inconvenience the renovations caused. Unfortunately, we have no control over what the neighboring condos are doing. Nevertheless, we strive to promptly inform our guests about any potential disruptions if we become aware of them in advance. Regarding the plumbing issue that occurred in the middle of the night, our response was swift and attentive. Upon your call to the emergency line, we immediately arranged accommodations for you in a nearby hotel, securing and paying for two rooms for your comfort. By the next morning before 8 AM we had a cleaning crew, a member from our team, and a plumber there to correct the issue that was caused by flushing items other than TP. Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances can arise in a property, and while these situations are beyond our control, we remain committed to rectifying them promptly and ensuring the best possible experience for our guests and I remain confident that is what we did in this situation. Wonderful location!

Between watching the beautiful sunsets (complete with fabled green flashes) and observing the manatees in the canal there was plenty of local fun to be had. The internet was good and the pools refreshing. With direct access to the bay, it's a great location for boaters. And for those that love orchids, there are plenty to see in their natural habitat. About the only negative is some road noise from US 1. But despite that, we can highly recommend the place ... we certainly enjoyed our stay!
