New pool! Welcome to Getaway Cottage, your dream escape to St. Simons Island. Step into a newly renovated home where every detail has been crafted for your ultimate comfort and enjoyment. This stunning retreat boasts all-new bathrooms and an upscale kitchen equipped with professional-grade appliances. The elegant wood floors add a touch of warmth and sophistication to the open, airy ranch-style layout, making it a delightful space to unwind.
THE SPACE
The crown jewel of Getaway Cottage is the screened-in back porch overlooking our new pool, a serene oasis where you can sip your morning coffee or enjoy a sunset cocktail watching the kids splash. It's no wonder this is our guests favorite spot to relax and recharge. The pool is under construction as of August 2025, planned to be complete October 1, 2025. Location is everything, and Getaway Cottage is perfectly situated just a half-mile stroll from the vibrant Pier/Village, where you can explore charming shops and savor local cuisine. The beach is less than a mile away, where endless adventures await.

Located on the south end of the Island, St. Simons Pier Village district serves as the downtown social hub and is a popular destination for shopping, dining and gathering on the pier and nearby lighthouse, playground and picnic areas. Overlooking the ocean and Jekyll Island across the way, you'll find the St. Simons Lighthouse and Museum, Neptune Park with its ocean side pool and facilities, playground, miniature golf course, and an oak shaded picnic area, fishing pier, public library and theater.

Beach Gear Included!: This home offers beach gear such as beach chairs and beach towels FREE for your use! Bikes, carts, paddleboards and more are available for rent locally, discount included. There are no fees or surchages attached to your reservation.
Pets: This is not a pet friendly home.
Heated Pool: This property offers a heated pool option. The cost is $75/night+tax and can be added up to 48 hours before arrival. Let us know if you'd like to heat the pool!
No Smoking: No smoking is allowed in the home, on the porches/patios/decks, or on the property in general.
Minimum Age: Must be 25 + to book, or age 30 + on GAFL weekend (last weekend in October) For GAFL weekend(last weekend in October), guests must be age 30 + or kids with their parents, no student groups. We cannot make exceptions for that weekend.
No Events: No events or parties. No overnight guests beyond the original booking group.
