Our dog-friendly home is on a quiet country back lane surrounded by trees, with mountain views from every room. On a clear night, the star-gazing is magical. High ceilings, wood stove, mountain views and star-gazing: our rustic log cabin is the quintessential Vermont experience. The entire house and property are yours during your stay. This clean and tidy cabin has a large primary bedroom with a queen bed, as well as a loft sleeping area with a queen bed (NOTE: as a traditional loft, the space is above the living room, does not have a closing door, and is accessed via a ladder). There are two full bathrooms - one is off the primary bedroom and the other is downstairs - plus an upstairs water closet. The kitchen includes a nice assortment of cookware and utensils to prepare meals. You’ll love the huge, custom-made velvet couch and wood stove in the living room, the deck for eating meals or doing yoga, the outside fire pit and, of course, the hot tub.
PLEASE NOTE: The property is not fenced, so please have eyes on children at all times outside. Dogs should be leashed.
PETS: Max. 2 dogs (sorry, no cats) - must be house trained, well behaved, kept off furniture, and never left unattended. SMOKING: No smoking inside! If the cabin smells like cigarettes when you leave, you will be charged $500 for emergency deep clean. NOISE: our little corner of the Northeast Kingdom is quiet and peaceful - please do not disturb the peace. No parties, noise pollution, or any behavior that disrupts the peace and quiet of our neighbors will be tolerated. SLEEPING SPACES: The cabin has one large bedroom, and then a loft above the living room; the latter is accessed via a ladder, and does not have a closing door.
