Buck Ridge is a gorgeous 3 bedroom cabin on private, wooded acreage. It offers a great space for up to 10 guests and 3 pets. There is a lower level hot tub deck, fresh decor, and a convenient location just minutes from the main route through the county and Cantwell Cliffs State Park. It is also located near Moonlit Trails, and can be rented as a stand alone or for a larger group reservation.

Buck Ridge Details:
Guests: Up to 10 guests (guests 3 and under are not counted in guest count figures. Properties are priced on a base rate and additional nightly guest charges will apply after the guest count exceeds the base rate)
Pets: Up to 3 (dogs only, $30/pet/reservation)
Bedrooms: 3 (bed linens, pillows, comforters provided)
Baths: 2.5 (bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes, hand soap provided- personal toiletry/shower items not provided)

Two Night Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at Buck Ridge - check in was super easy, it was nice and clean, everything in place. The hot tub worked great and it was nice to enjoy after hanging out in the colder temps. I love that we could bring our pup on the trip, too.

Great place to stay

We were a group of 6 adults and 2 babies - the downstairs area was perfect for our family with the two babies! Lots of room for cribs and crawling around on carpet. Kitchen and living room were open and spacious. Loft area was open and spacious as well. Everything was very clean and as described in the listing. Close to all of the hikes. We would definitely stay here again!

Thankgiving Family Reunion

The property met all of our expectations. Spacious kitchen, living room and entertainment room. The jacuzzi was a welcome relief after hiking in Hocking Hills nearby. We will certainly consider renting again. Perhaps next fall when the leaves change.

Getaway

I took a week long getaway after another vacation just to relax. This was a perfect setting to do just that. My friend and my dogs kept me company for the week, never having been to Hocking hills. We visited a couple of caves and caught up on reading and enjoyed the hot tub. My dogs enjoyed the solitude and hikes as well.

Weekend Getaway

We had a great stay and the entire process was very fluid and easy from renting to accessing/‘checking in’ including our stay. We didn’t experience any issues or have any concerns. We just had a fun getaway and the kids really enjoyed the experience. The property is relatively close to the Hocking Hills attractions and we spent quality time in Conkle’s Hollow and @ Old Mans Cave. We would rent this property again for our next weekend getaway in Hocking Hills!

Perfect cabin!

This cabin was so peaceful, clean and the perfect size. The property surrounding was beautiful! It was the most secluded but easy to get places I’ve stayed. The only issue we had was the extra bedding for futons. The listing says it sleeps 10 but I would prepare to bring sheets / blankets for 3 of those. Thanks for a beautiful stay! We are hoping to come back in the fall or winter (:

A great place to chill out. Everything was as advertised, and all the stuff worked except the toaster. No need to downgrade because only one side of the bread toasted.

Great Quiet Cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. It feels pretty off the grid but still 15 mins from Kroger and 20ish from hocking hills. We loved it. The cabin is so clean. Not even a cobweb or dust on the outdoor porches. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed exploring. Make sure you get a starter log or lighter fluid for the fire pit. We would definitely go back.

Nice Cabin

Cabin was as described and we would definitely go back! Couch on the first level was not supportive and uncomfortable. Would be nice to have a TV on the first floor. Electric fireplace did not work. Lighting on main floor could be improved. Management staff was friendly and responsive. Overall a great place to stay!

Beautiful house and location. Hot tub needs updates or repairs

Beautiful house. Pictures are just like the property. Clean and spacious. Few minor hiccups. Dryer didn’t work. Hot tub is older and display is hard to see at night. It wasn’t full, didn’t get past 93 degrees and multiple jets weren’t working. I notified the property manager who offered to send someone out but no one came. I called the 800 number and I was referred to another number which is frustrating. It was disappointing after hiking all day to have no dryer and half working hot tub. Again the house was beautiful just disappointed with the hot tub and lack of communication with property manager.

There are 3 levels, so each family had a level and their own bathroom.The porch and hot tub were lovely and the weather was beautiful.The cabin is close to the State Park and lots of entertainment. We hiked a lot, went horseback riding, and played miniature golf. Some of us went to Revolution Rockbridge winery and visited the Jack Pine glassblowing studio.It is a great location and plenty of room to cook and eat meals together

Cabin is great!

The cabin itself and cleanliness were great! Would definitely give a five star rating if the hot tub was clean and functioned properly and the pots and pans teflon was not scratched up and peeling.

Cute cabin

The cabin was very nice and quiet. We enjoyed the property, which is close by a creek. It was clean and spacious. We only wish there was a generator because the rain caused a power outage. With phone limited service and the WiFi not working, made it a bit challenging to search things online. However, overall we enjoyed the place.

Perfect size

Loved it and a perfect size for my family of 7! Next time I think I’ll like to add a couple more days to our trip so we could have hiked more! It was clean and spacious! The cabin had everything we needed!

Weekend gettaway

A bit pricey for what you get. Extra charges for fire wood and gas for a grill when paying 349 a night. Well kept up. bed in lower level made lot of creeking just to roll over. Nice to have a private area on every level when more than one couple staying. Still I would love to go again.

Black mold in this rental

This was a short 2 night stay in Hocking Hills. Upon arrival to our rental, I immediately noticed a foul smell. I thought it was a dead mouse. There was a plug-in air freshener in the cabin to try to mask the foul smell. Upon further investigation, I saw mold in the main floor bathroom above the shower on the pine wood. This was mold that I could wipe away with my hand. I looked at the kitchen wall above the cupboards and noticed mold there too. I emailed Buffalo rentals on Friday evening after we got back to the cabin because the smell was still there. They denied that they received this email. I emailed again and they sent their maintenance man out to the cabin and he suspected the upstairs bathroom was leaking. After several emails and a phone call, they don’t listen to anything I have to say and deny everything! I was told that the black marks on the pine are from construction over 10 years ago and that the smell is from a dirty garbage disposal. This is not the case! I really don’t like to complain but this 2 night rental was expensive. There should NEVER be mold with any rental but at this price, it should be spotless. I am immune compromised and really didn’t want to stay there but we had already paid. Now they are saying that they would have just moved us to one of their other (44) rentals. How would I ever know that they owned other rentals that they could have moved us to? You should never be treated the way this company has treated us.

Great Escape From Reality

Very clean, easy check-in, great communication, amazing location. Mattress was very comfortable memory foam. Hot tub was the right temperature with an unbeatable view of the great outdoors.
