Spanish Cay E6 is a spectacular 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom corner-end unit on the top floor overlooking the Sanibel River! Just imagine spending each morning on your screened lanai taking in the nature and wildlife right before you... Ahhh, paradise! This unit also boasts gorgeous hardwood floors, crown molding, plantation shutters, remodeled bathrooms, all new furniture throughout, updated galley kitchen with compact oven and most importantly peace and tranquility! This beauty was impeccably updated and furnished to perfection to provide you a truly convenient turnkey rental experience with all the necessary items & amenities needed to make you feel relaxed and right at home! Spanish Cay is a smaller complex with only 40 units and is located across the street and within steps to the sandy beaches and the Gulf of Mexico. You can also access the bike paths right outside your front door and explore the miles of island wide paths to many local restaurants & shopping or ride up and tour through the Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge. The possibilities are endless... Come and see for yourself!

Condo amenities include: 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms -- 1 King bed, 2 twin beds (sleeps 4), 3 flat screen Smart TV's (streaming only), WIFI available, heated shared community pool, in suite washer & dryer, fully equipped kitchen outfitted with Wolf electric cooktop and Kitchen Aid convection/microwave and countertop ovens. No elevator access available. No Pets allowed. Bed linens and Bath towels included. This unit comes stocked with beach chairs, beach towels and an umbrella.

Incidental Damage Benefit - We understand accidents happen! Every booking with Sanibel Vacations includes protection for those incidental accidents causing damage to the property. Applies to incidental damage only with limits. Details in rental agreement.

2-Week Minimum rental period is required. Please call our office for assistance if necessary. This unit is non-smoking with a maximum occupancy of 4 people.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Yes, the condo was brand new. It felt like we were the first people to use it, it was so clean. When I first got there I couldn't figure out how to get the screen away from the door. A SBL vacation person was in the parking lot and he came up and helped me, answered all my questions and was very very friendly taking his time to talk to me. The hairdryer didn't work in the master bath. Another one showed up the next morning. Rented a bike through them and when I went to the office everyone was friendly, even the bike man talked to me about the bikes. This condo complex I would not recommend for anyone with small children. There is a hose that you can use to wash shells but not a shell washing station. The pool is not huge and there are no other amenities. However, all the people we came in contact with were so friendly and nice. The beach access is not right across the street, however you can drive with all your stuff if you didn't want to walk or ride a bike. Would definitely rent through them again. In fact, we are!!!

Great Vacation

We enjoyed our vacation tremendously. The only frustrations were small: for a two week rental it would have been nice for the condo to have come equipped with salt and pepper as well as foil or plastic wrap (etc). Also, the mattresses on all of the beds were very very soft and left some of us with very sore lower backs. Overall though, the condo was clean and comfortable and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Needed R & R

My mom and I were here for a wonderful 14 days. What a great quiet area. The canal behind the unit was a treat in the afternoons to see wildlife. Close to all the shops and restaurants. Beach is a nice added bonus because it is a private access. The condo had everything you could think of. We will definitely come back to the island! Thank you!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family of 4 was very pleased with our stay with Sanibel Vacations. The condo was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay including beach towels, chairs and umbrella. The pool was a warm 85 degrees and felt like bathwater. We loved seeing the birds, alligator and iguana from the lanai. The condo was very quiet and in a great location for riding a bike or a walking to the beach. The only hiccup was trying to figure out the convection oven. The first time we used it we ruined a frozen pizza and had to have one delivered but after that we figured it out. Some step by step instructions would have been useful. Also, laundry and dishwasher detergent is provided but bring more because you'll need it. My family loved the location and amenities so much if we ever go back to Sanibel we will definitely stay here!

Yes, we do provide each family with a starter kit that states you are given 2 pods of laundry detergent and 2 pods of dishwasher detergent and then after that it is up to you to purchase any more if necessary! We hope you will come stay with us again in the future!

The Sanibel river out our lanai attracted more wildlife than we ever saw on the ocean. Birds too numerous and varied to list, alligators, turtles and iguanas were all frequently seen. The ocean was easy to get to with the property having a deeded access just down the street. We either walked, road our bikes or drove depending on how much we were bringing with us. The condo had great beach supplies, chairs, umbrellas and more.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Spanish Cay E6 for 2 weeks in late May. The condo itself is comfortable and spotlessly clean. It has been updated and upgraded, the finishes are very nice.We enjoyed the lanai so much, the proximity to the river was amazing. The lanai is screened, overlooking the river. We spent hours on the lanai watching birds, turtles and occasionally an alligator. The condo came equipped with basic beach needs, all in new condition.The access to the beach is a short walk-maybe 5 minutes, less than a minute bike ride, we didn't find it an issue at all. Wonderful visit, would definitely recommend.

The apartment was in excellent condition, clean, quiet and comfortable. The views of Sanibel River were great. There were plenty of birds to watch while sitting on the porch. The location and short walk to the beach were very convenient. Working through SBL vacations was very straightforward. They were responsive and helpful. We look forward to our next vacation in Sanibel!
